The most explosive season of Bravo's "Vanderpump Rules" ended last week. The world of "Vanderpump Rules" was rocked in March when longtime cast member Ariana Madix discovered her partner of nine years, Tom Sandoval, had been having an affair with one of her close friends, Raquel Leviss. One Bravo-focused account seized the #Scandoval moment and gained 44,000 Instagram followersBravo by Betches, an Instagram account devoted to all things Bravo from Betches Media, had its biggest growth month ever during March. While growth has slowed since peak #Scandoval, the women's media company has managed to sustain some of the Vanderpump bump. Before #Scandoval, the audience for "Vanderpump Rules" had been waning and Bravo by Betches wasn't posting about the show as much.

Wealthy shoppers are increasingly turning to discount stores like Aldi, Dollar Tree, and Dollar General. This is because of inflation, improved product quality, and changing attitudes to discount stores. Morgan Pierce, who The Journal reported earns about $200,000 a year working at McDonald's corporate office in Chicago, visits Aldi and dollar stores for staples. People who The Journal spoke to said that the idea of shopping at discount stores was no longer as stigmatized. Soaring inflation during 2021 and 2022 combined with better-quality budget products and a rising number of brand-agnostic shoppers have all helped to push wealthier shoppers to discount stores.

Holmes reported to the Federal Prison Camp in Bryan, Texas, on Tuesday to begin serving out her 11-year sentence after being convicted on multiple charges of defrauding investors while running the now-defunct startup Theranos. Located approximately 100 miles outside of Houston, where Holmes grew up before moving to California to attend Stanford, FPC Bryan is a minimum-security federal prison camp housing more than 600 women offenders. Disgraced Theranos CEO Elizabeth Holmes is escorted by prison officials into the the Federal Prison Camp on Tuesday, May 30, 2023, in Bryan, Texas. But according to Mark MacDougall, a longtime white-collar defense lawyer and former federal prosecutor, the prison won’t be a walk in the park for Holmes. Housing at FPC Bryan typically consists of dormitory-style arrangements featuring a four-bunk cubicle and communal bath facilities, he said.
The Theranos founder is expected to do so at Bryan federal prison camp in Texas. Elizabeth Holmes, the convicted founder of Theranos, is expected to start serving her 11-year sentence at a federal prison camp in Texas Tuesday. At the prison camp, the 39-year-old mother of two will have no choice but to don khaki prison garb. A copy of "Bad Blood," John Carreyrou's book about the rise and fall of Holmes and Theranos, has been spotted in the library of the prison camp, per The Journal. The prison camp holds about 650 women convicted of white-collar crimes, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Elizabeth Holmes will be staying at the same prison camp as Real Housewives star Jen ShahThe Texas women's prison offers business skill classes to all inmates. Both Holmes and Shah have been convicted of fraud relating to their business practices. Elizabeth Holmes is set to begin her 11-year sentence for fraud related to her failed blood-testing business at a prison camp in Texas that, ironically, offers business classes to inmates, according to an inmate orientation handbook. Holmes was convicted in November 2022 of three charges of wire fraud and one conspiracy to commit wire fraud charge after a jury found she defrauded investors in her health tech company Theranos. It's not all bad though: the prison offers wellness classes, arts and crafts, and leisure programs.
Holmes will soon ditch her turtleneck and work in a factory line, earning 12 cents to a dollar. The disgraced Theranos CEO has been instructed to report to a Texas prison at the end of May. Holmes was convicted on four counts of fraud and conspiracy in January 2022. Elizabeth Holmes will soon be switching out her famous black turtleneck in favor of drab khaki prison wear when she reports to a prison in Texas at the end of the month. At the Texas prison, Holmes will be expected to dress in khaki pants and shirts and will have to dispense with any jewelry exceeding $100 in value, per an inmate admission and orientation handbook.
In a recent TikTok post, the 52-year-old spoke about how she was militant about not spending money she didn't have. Frankel earned just $7,250 for her star-making turn on the first season of "The Real Housewives of New York." "My apartment was furnished by Ikea when I was on the 'Housewives of New York,'" she said. In the years following her "Housewives" debut, Frankel started and sold her Skinnygirl Cocktails brand for a reported $100 million. "I was always terrified, because you don't spend money you don't f---ing have."
CNN —Jamie Foxx was hospitalized weeks ago but there’s still not much publicly known. Anyone who has followed Jamie Foxx’s career closely, however, shouldn’t be surprised by that. There has been practically no information released other than his family initially asking for privacy and a post last week on Foxx’s verified social media account. Foxx and Holmes reportedly split in 2019. So the silence surrounding Foxx’s “medical complication,” to use his family’s words initially, seems in keeping with how the performer conducts himself.

Scrolling through a list of cultural influences on her phone in the bar of a New York hotel, Ware debated what to include. 1Photo BoothsI’m constantly trying to make my phone take pictures that look old and romantic, and the photo booth just does that. What I’ve just started doing is taking selfies of myself, but pretending that I’m being caught off guard so that I can get really good photos with my children. 2‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’It’s dirty and naughty and I probably should be doing something else, but I’m there, invested in the Kathy and Kyle drama. It’s so good for being able to work out your route for the day, like, I’m going to go to this coffee shop, then I’m going to go to the famous cemetery in Buenos Aires, and then I’m going to walk from there.
The highly anticipated reunion episode of Netflix's "Love Is Blind" was delayed on Sunday. The reality TV alumna, who later founded the Skinnygirl lifestyle brand and became a self-made millionaire entrepreneur, agreed to a payment of just $7,250 for the hit Bravo TV show's first season, she said in a recent Instagram Reel. But she didn't let the network take a percentage of anything she made on her own, a move that "changed my entire life," she added. Frankel crossed out that section of the contract, and Bravo agreed to her terms, she said. A year later, Frankel founded Skinnygirl, which was initially built around selling pre-packaged, low-calorie margaritas. Shortly after, Frankel sold Skinnygirl Cocktails to Beam Global for an estimated $100 million dollars, keeping the rights to the "Skinnygirl" name.
Personal injury attorney Tom Girardi is a legal legend and courtroom shark. Today, Girardi is facing hundreds of millions of dollars in lawsuits alleging fraud, and his famous namesake law firm has gone bankrupt. Ally Capriotti Grant is a casting director who worked on "Queer Eye" for five seasons. Then her team looks for someone who is open, honest, and ready for help from the hosts of the show. I started working on "Queer Eye" in December 2016 and worked there through season five, which aired in June 2020. I love that "Queer Eye" celebrates what makes us different. Chicago prosecutors alleged that Girardi misappropriated more than $3 million in client funds owed to families of the victims of the 2018 Boeing (BA.N) 737 MAX Lion Air Flight 610 crash in Indonesia. Christopher Kamon, the former chief financial officer of Girardi's now-defunct law firm Girardi Keese, was also charged in the Chicago and Los Angeles cases. The California Supreme Court disbarred Girardi in June in connection with his alleged conduct in the Lion Air case. Kamon was separately charged with wire fraud in November for allegedly embezzling $10 million from the defunct Girardi Keese firm.
