The CCDH researchers then used Instagram's own content reporting tools to flag the 1,000 offensive comments it manually discovered. DENVER — Four men were fatally shot and a woman was hospitalized with gunshot wounds during a spate of weekend violence in the Denver suburb of Commerce City. A person of interest in one of the cases was later found dead of a self-inflicted gunshot, police said Sunday. In Denver itself one person was killed and six people injured in a string of weekend shootings and stabbings, police said. A man and a woman were shot, and the man later died. Officers returning to the scene of the gunfight found a male who had been shot dead in the yard of a residence, Small said.

Given the opportunity to park money with the world’s largest private equity firms, ordinary investors rushed in. The private equity firms began to seek out smaller investors almost a decade ago. It was a major shift for firms like Blackstone, Starwood Capital Group and KKR that had previously been funded by enormous pensions, endowments and sovereign wealth funds. But it was also a way for the big fund managers to grow their assets and rake in ever larger fees.
