In the case of the Ultimate World Cruise, Sebastian said that title has been given to none other than Whoopi Goldberg. According to Cruising Ducks, the rubber duck scavenger hunt started in 2018 when a 10-year-old passenger on the Carnival Breeze cruise hid 50 ducks aboard the ship. The fad became so popular that there are now entire Facebook groups dedicated to sharing photos of rubber ducks discovered on cruises and their hiding places. Representatives for the 52-year-old Snoop, born Calvin Cordozar Broadus Jr., did not immediately respond to The Associated Press' requests for comment Friday. Others applauded the announcement and suggested Snoop may have chosen to stop smoking for his own personal health. On Monday night, about 500 people gathered in the Hudson Yards neighborhood of Manhattan for the fourth-annual gala for the Shed, the $475 million arts center that opened in 2019. It has since hosted a concert series by the director Steve McQueen and Quincy Jones and is currently staging Stephen Sondheim’s final musical, “Here We Are.”For the gala, the Shed’s colossal main hall was transformed into a carpeted room with tables spread among low, blobby couches. “I feel like I’m in NASA,” one guest said, adding that the venue felt big enough to accommodate a rocket launch. The evening honored M&T Bank, which has partnered with the center since it began, and the Santo Domingo family, who are longtime supporters. The crowd included the ballerina Misty Copeland, who is also a board member; the designer Wes Gordon; and the hip-hop duo the Dragon Sisters, who are part of the Shed’s Open Call program, which commissions projects from emerging artists in New York.

Martha Stewart was famously accused of insider trading in the early 2000s, but she didn't face criminal insider trading charges. "It is incredibly difficult to prove an insider trading case," said Daniel Taylor, a forensic accounting professor at the University of Pennsylvania. "Insider trading is judge-made law," said John Reed Stark, former head of the Office of Internet Enforcement at the Securities Exchange Commission. The SEC adopted an amendment to a rule that will "enhance investor protections against insider trading." The Department of Justice prosecuted the first insider trading case exclusively based on the rule in March 2023.

New York CNN —Spirits maker Diageo has cut ties with Sean “Diddy” Combs, ending a lucrative 15-year partnership that recently culminated in a racial discrimination lawsuit. The music mogul charged that Diageo had neglected and underpromoted his DeLeón tequila, dismissing it as an “urban” product in its marketing, in a suit filed last month. Diageo responded that he has “amassed nearly $1 billion dollars” from the partnership. Diageo and Combs have partnered on Ciroc vodka since 2007. In 2013, Combs bought DeLeón and formed a joint venture with Diageo for the high-end tequila.

Many of them either embraced or tolerated remote working but now they seem less keen. Earlier in June, Meta announced that workers must go into the office three days a week, starting September 5. Musk has criticized remote work on several occasions and recently called it "morally wrong." Martha Stewart has also weighed in on the productivity of remote workers, saying: "You can't possibly get everything done working three days a week in the office and two days remotely." The employer backlash against remote work follows a period of upheaval in the tech industry.

'You can't possibly get everything done working three days a week in the office and two days remotely,' she told Footwear News in a recent interview. A remote work vs return-to-office war has been brewing for years between employees and employers. "You can't possibly get everything done working three days a week in the office and two days remotely," she told the publication. "I continued to work five days a week" during the COVID-19 pandemic, she told the media outlet. Getting employees back to the office wasn't the only business advice Stewart shared with Footwear News.

Stewart is not the only high-profile figure strongly advocating for in-person work. Some workers have told CNN the ability to work remotely has changed their lives for the better and that they would rather quit their jobs than return to in-person work. Diddy attends The After, hosted by the entrepreneur and Doja Cat, powered by Ciroc Premium Vodka and DeLeon Tequila at Club Love in New York City, May 1, 2023. Sean "Diddy" Combs is suing multinational spirits giant Diageo for alleged racial discrimination in the handling of his vodka and tequila brands, which Combs claims the company typecast as "Black brands." In a lawsuit filed Wednesday with the New York Supreme Court in Manhattan, Combs' lawyers accuse Diageo of neglecting his Ciroc vodka and DeLeon tequila brands, and of marginalizing their appeal by marketing them as "urban" brands. Following the success of the partnership, Diageo co-purchased the DeLeon tequila brand with Combs' company in 2013. Diageo, a multibillion-dollar, publicly traded spirits company based in London, owns more than 200 brands, including the Don Julio tequila brand.

New York CNN —Sean “Diddy” Combs is suing Diageo for racial discrimination, claiming that the spirits company that produces DeLeón — the tequila he co-owns with the company — failed to market DeLeón on par with its other brands, including Don Julio and George Clooney’s Casamigos brands. Tequila sales have grown in the United States in recent years, according to data from Distilled Spirits Council of the United States. However, Combs said that his tequila brand hasn’t benefited from the same growth as Casamigos or other tequilas. “While Diageo invested in and expanded its other brands — many of which were acquired after Ciroc and DeLeon — Mr. Combs’ brands were allowed to wither,” it said. In 2013, Combs bought DeLeón and formed a joint venture with Diageo for the high-end tequila.
