Connor Goodwolf (legal name is David Leroy Ross) is an IT consultant who plumbs the dark web as part of his job. So when word got out that the city of Columbus, his hometown, had been breached, Goodwolf did what he does: he poked around online. "Lawsuits against data security researchers are rare," said Raymond Ku, professor of law at Case Western Reserve University. Columbus City Attorney Zach Klein said during a September press conference that the case was "not about freedom of speech or whistleblowing.

Top bosses at Berkshire Hathaway are usually tight-lipped about their market outlook, but recent investment actions from the executives are saying a lot. News broke earlier this week that Ajit Jain, the conglomerate's insurance chief for nearly 40 years, sold more than half of his Berkshire stake worth $139 million. That marked the biggest sale of Berkshire stock by the 73-year-old vice chairman of insurance operations since he was hired by Warren Buffett in 1986. CNN —At least two people have been killed and 29 injured in a train collision in Egypt, the country’s health ministry said Saturday. Images from the scene showed crowds of people gathered around the twisted wreckage of the trains as the rescue operations took place. Egypt recorded 2,044 train accidents in 2018 and 1,793 the year before, according to the Central Agency for Public Mobilization and Statistics (CAPMAS). In 2021, at least 32 people were killed and 165 injured when two trains collided. A collision between two trains in Alexandria, Egypt’s second largest city, in August 2017 left more than 40 dead and many more injured.
