After beating Nikki Haley in New Hampshire on Tuesday, Donald Trump reaffirmed his position as the leading candidate to win the Republican nomination. That has business leaders facing the possibility of another Trump presidency, and their investors trying to figure out what it could mean for their bottom lines. During Blackstone’s quarterly earnings call on Thursday, an analyst wanted to know if uncertainty over who would win a likely Biden-Trump matchup could freeze deal flow. (“At the end of the day, do you think he’s going to be more interested in attacking the A.C.A. or something else?” he said of a potential Trump presidency.

Moving quickly, even for as little as three minutes a day, may lower your risk of developing more than 10 types of cancer, a new study found. "They called it 'vigorous intermittent lifestyle physical activity,' so they weren't specifically saying exercise. Little things like taking the stairs and parking farther away from your destination may be very helpful in terms of cancer prevention, Crane tells CNBC Make It. Moving quickly for three to four minutes each day was linked to a 17% to 18% lower risk of developing cancer, and a nearly 30% lower risk of developing one of the 13 types of cancers the study focused on. "In fact, people who are able to have these bursts of energy throughout their day, of activity, seem to see protection from it."

Overall, an FDA spokesperson says that “trial participants should reflect the population that is likely to use the product if FDA-approved. Across a group of 10 novel cancer therapies approved by the FDA in 2022, data shows the share of Black participants in key clinical trials ranged from zero to 8%. “Access to clinical trials at the sites where patients are living is an important factor to changing the landscape,” Perez says. “There’s been some novel ways to recruit patients, like using the church and using barbershops to recruit Black patients,” Cho says. watch nowInvestors are ignoring a huge subsection of tech because it's considered "taboo" – despite the fact that it is set to be worth $1 trillion by 2027. But just 3.3% of digital health investment in the U.S. went towards women's health between 2011 and 2020, according to digital consultancy Rock Health. Research by Women's Health Access Matters suggests that a $300 million investment into improving female health could generate around $13 billion. It is now one of the largest companies in the FemTech space and has a revenue of $100 million. The issue of not understanding women's health – and the importance of female-specific health solutions – has deeper roots.
