For the first four years of his college football career, Michael Penix Jr.’s best moment on the field was a dive into the pylon on a 2-point conversion in overtime that sealed Indiana’s upset of a top-10 ranked Penn State. It was a great win for the Hoosiers, but eminently forgettable in the grander scheme of college football.

Medicaid, the federal and state health insurance program for the poor, requires states to provide dental coverage for children but not adults. While dental care often is seen as routine, the poor often go without any care for years or even decades. In New Hampshire, the state is spending $33.4 million over 12 months to provide dental care to its 88,000 Medicaid recipients. Andy Beshear pressed ahead with emergency regulations ensuring that about 900,000 Kentuckians would continue having access to dental care after the Republican-led legislature rejected his proposal. A mother of five, she figured dental care would take away from spending on her children.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — An egg farmer seeking the Republican nomination for Indiana’s open U.S. Senate seat in 2024 filed a lawsuit Tuesday challenging the constitutionality of a state law that could prevent him from getting on the ballot. Rust told The Indianapolis Star he hopes the lawsuit will allow Indiana residents that identify with their party to run for office without following requirements in Indiana law on political party affiliation. Rust faces an uphill battle for the GOP nomination against U.S. Rep. Jim Banks, who has received the endorsement of the Indiana Republican Party. “No one is trying to keep him off the ballot, he just thinks he’s above the law and can throw his money around to buy a U.S. Senate seat,” Banks said. The U.S. Senate seat is being vacated by Sen. Mike Braun, who is running for governor.

INDIANAPOLIS (AP) — Indiana's attorney general has sued the state's largest hospital system, claiming it violated patient privacy laws when a doctor publicly shared the story of an Ohio girl who traveled to Indiana for an abortion. Rokita, a Republican, is stridently anti-abortion and Indiana was the first state to approve abortion restrictions after the court's decision. “Rather than protecting the patient, the hospital chose to protect the doctor, and itself.”The lawsuit named Indiana University Health and IU Healthcare Associates. It alleged the hospital system violated HIPPA, the federal Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act, and a state law for not protecting the patient’s information. Hospital system officials have argued that Bernard didn’t violate privacy laws.

CNN —Wedding bells are ringing in the final season of Netflix’s “The Crown.”The streamer teased a big storyline for the Emmy-winning series on Monday, confirming that the 2005 wedding of then-Prince Charles to Camilla Parker-Bowles will be featured in the sixth and final season. Charles became King Charles III and ascended the throne in September 2022 after the death of Queen Elizabeth II, the longest-reigning British monarch. As both had been previously married, Charles and Camilla wed in a small civil ceremony. The late Queen Elizabeth did not attend the ceremony because of her role as head of the Church of England, which discourages divorce.

CNN —New audio has been released of Princess Diana talking about how Britain’s Prince Charles – now King Charles III – was disappointed that they were having a boy, not a girl, when Prince Harry was born. The late princess recorded a series of audio tapes in the 1990s and had them secretly delivered to author Andrew Morton before her death in a high-speed car crash in 1997. ABC’s Good Morning America got an exclusive listen to the tapes in which Diana says her husband wouldn’t even talk to her stepmother Raine Spencer. ‘Pain, Raine?’She recalled Spencer reacting by saying she had “no idea how much pain your mother put your father through.”The late Princess responded: ‘Pain, Raine? When asked if he would release more audio, Morton said, “There is global interest, but we’ll have to see what happens.”

Mohamed Al-Fayed dead at 94

Al-Fayed for decades insisted the pair were murdered, despite inquiries finding otherwise, and was scornful towards the British royal family in his later life. After 1997, when a car crash claimed the lives of his son and Diana, Al-Fayed would frequently sling insults at the British royal family and became persona non grata among parts of the country’s elite. Al-Fayed was questioned by police in 2008 in relation to a sex assault allegation that he denied, a Harrods spokesperson said at the time. He eventually sold the store to the Qatari royal family in 2010, for a reported $2.25 billion. Al-Fayed had six children, including Dodi and the environmentalist entrepreneur Omar Fayed.

A Broadway alumna of “Hair” and “Frozen,” Levy from the start pulls you into her character’s increasing confusion. We see at the outset the difficulty Diana faces in simply making sandwiches, the bread laid out before her as if as if this routine domestic task were an unusual challenge. From there, the musical darkens to embrace shock therapy, attempted suicide and multiple hallucinations, the specifics of which are best left unrevealed. Several references move the world of the show on from a decade ago. (The London-based American performer Trevor Dion Nicholas ably doubles as the two doctors struggling to diagnose Diana’s condition.)

But I don’t think we’re all aware of the age beliefs. To do that, researchers like him are targeting the essential biology of aging – the underlying reasons why we get old. When those biological processes fail or break down, we get sick – and aging is the biggest risk factor for that deterioration. In the meantime, though, remember this: Aging is probably not nearly as bad as you might imagine. And as my mom told me, we should all truly embrace getting older, because it sure as heck beats the alternative.

“You’re too honest,” Mr. Trump told him. Mr. Pence met with federal prosecutors this year and appears to have cooperated with them by describing the discussions he had with Mr. Trump between the election and Jan. 6. For months, Mr. Pence has maintained that “history will hold Donald Trump accountable” for his actions on Jan. 6. After repeating on Tuesday that Mr. Trump should never again be president, Mr. Pence added that he had not yet “reviewed” the indictment and reserved further comment for when he had. Mr. Pence is still cautious when criticizing a man who retains the intense loyalty of the party’s base, but he also wants to beat him for the Republican nomination.

But the unique accounting standards that the industry has long relied on to make those calculations is anything but straightforward. “Hollywood accounting,” as a concept, is so specific to the entertainment business it has its own Wikipedia page. And while experts say this kind of creative accounting is perfectly legal, the tactics involve some of the most fantastical fictions ever devised in Tinseltown. To actually make the movie, the subsidiary inevitably takes on expenses — crew wages, craft services, set design, props etc. That means all of these “creative” expense allocations shouldn’t affect what net profits the studio’s shareholders see.

A decade ago, when he was sheriff, Mr. Rogers dispatched deputies to issue tickets to Norfolk Southern crews whose trains were impeding traffic. The tickets helped draw attention to blocked crossings, and the congestion decreased for a time. But the railroad sued the state, and Indiana’s Supreme Court overturned the law that authorized local officials to fine railroads for blocking crossings. Indiana and nearly 20 other states recently joined Ohio in asking the U.S. Supreme Court to determine that states can issues such regulations. Congress provided about $3 billion in 2021 to help fund projects that would alleviate congestion at frequently blocked railroad crossings.

I’ve been fascinated with film music since elementary school, when I got a cassette tape called “Kid Stuff: An Afternoon at the Movies,” which featured Mr. Williams and the Boston Pops. No one exemplifies this better than Mr. Williams, who is still composing at 91. Mr. Williams accomplished this by inviting the trumpet section of the London Symphony Orchestra to blast away in its most piercing register. As he has with other cues, Mr. Williams has given this particular set piece an afterlife in concert performances. London CNN —There’s no denying the echoes to the late Princess Diana’s 1997 death in a car crash in Paris. However, those images appear to show Prince Harry documenting the moment on his phone, so we may yet learn more about what exactly happened from their perspective in the future.
