Almost immediately, Democrats saw a surge of support — mostly from disillusioned Democratic voters. As of this writing, it’s now Republicans in battleground states and districts who are begging their nominee to change course. As for the GOP, Trump and his allies have done everything they can to mold the GOP in Trump’s image, and anyone who doesn’t share that view has essentially been purged. The latest research on the prevalence of aspirin use to prevent cardiovascular disease suggests that in 2021, nearly a third of adults 60 or older without cardiovascular disease were still using aspirin. Among adults 60 or older, nearly 30% reported taking aspirin to prevent cardiovascular disease, and around 5% of all adults 60 or older reported using aspirin without medical advice. Among those regularly taking aspirin, 89% reported taking a low-dose aspirin, according to the survey, while 11% indicated they take regular strength aspirin, which makes their risk of excessive bleeding even higher. The other alarming aspect is that many individuals are taking aspirin without the guidance of a healthcare provider,” Montgomery said. Regardless, any patient taking aspirin regularly should discuss that behavior with their physician, Weintraub said.

A top exchange-traded fund provider is betting on the long-term popularity of GLP-1 weight loss drugs. Roundhill Investments' GLP-1 & Weight Loss ETF (OZEM), which began trading last week, pairs leaders Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk with players developing new treatments for weight loss and diabetes. Eli Lilly and Novo Nordisk each hold a roughly 20% weighting in the ETF, per Roundhill's website as of Friday. Mazza waived concerns that investors have missed out on the rally, noting the weight loss drug industry is still in its "early days." The firm's CEO Dave Mazza plans to launch the Lucky Eight ETF, which aims to be China's answer to the success of Wall Street's big tech stocks. "There's a lot of question marks about the Chinese economy and the potential for growth of the consumer in China," Mazza told CNBC's "ETF Edge" on Monday.
