Sony on Tuesday announced the PlayStation 5 Pro, an upgraded version of its gaming console that will launch on Nov. 7 for $700. The arrival of Sony's refreshed PS5 console comes amid a global decline in console sales. The PS5 Pro features "advanced" ray tracing, a technique in computer graphics that simulates how light bounces off reflective surfaces. Sony said the PS5 Pro features a 2-terabyte solid-state drive, larger than the custom-built 825 GB solid-state drive featured in the PS5. Sony said several games will have "PS5 Pro Enhanced" designation with features that work on the new console.

The IPO market is expected to pick up later this year, so Business Insider emailed Silicon Valley lawyer Louis Lehot, a partner at Foley & Lardner, for advice on how startups should prepare for life as public companies. Are public market investors generally keen to invest in IPOs, or are they focused elsewhere? Public market investors are selective, focusing on established profitability and sustainable growth over speculative, high-growth stories. What are the key process changes companies need to make ahead of an IPO?

Mario Tama | Getty ImagesSummer air travel is expected to soar in the United States. Last summer, a record-breaking summer for airports, there were air traffic jams and near collisions amid challenges in flight coordination. Based on air traffic patterns and airport density, New York City and Florida are subject to the highest risk of backups. "There is still a shortage of air traffic controllers, but it hasn't led to the worst outcomes that we were expecting when we were talking about the shortage of air traffic control workers even a year ago." With production delays, airlines pay billions to fly less fuel-efficient and more costly and aged jets.

CNN —Airport employees in Portland, Maine, were forced to clear out of the way when a Southwest Airlines jet on the morning of June 25 took off from a closed runway, according to air traffic control recordings. Controllers and pilots warned the crew of Southwest 4805 several times that the runway was closed, the recordings made by LiveATC.net show. “There’s an airport vehicle,” one voice warned over the radio. The Boston controller later told Southwest they departed three minutes before the runway reopened. The tower controller told the workers over the radio that he knew “you were on the runway and had to exit” because of the takeoff.

A Southwest Airlines plane descended prematurely on Wednesday over Oklahoma City, startling residents miles from the airport, before regaining altitude and then landing safely. The plane then ascended again to about 3,000 feet before landing successfully at its planned destination, Will Rogers World Airport, at 12:16 a.m. local time. An automated warning was triggered by the low altitude, and an air traffic controller alerted the pilots, the Federal Aviation Administration said in a statement. “Southwest 4069, low altitude alert. You good out there?” the controller can be heard saying in a recording from LiveATC.net provided to The Oklahoman newspaper.

Morgan Stanley named a new top pick which it called a "unique Nvidia proxy." "We see Aspeed as a unique NVIDIA-related play, being the sole BMC supplier for GB200 and a key supplier to help realize Omniverse adoption," said Morgan Stanley analysts in a June 7 note. Morgan Stanley said with an average selling price of $100 per chip, it estimates the company could enjoy gross margins of 90%. The positive outlook for cloud capital expenditure is also set to benefit the data center supply chain, according to Morgan Stanley. That expected growth would be a 42-point acceleration from just 2% year-on-year growth in 2023, Morgan Stanley said.

The pilots of the Delta flight aborted their takeoff run following a frantic call from the air traffic controller in the tower. The two planes came within 1,400 feet of colliding, NTSB data released earlier this year found. It also follows two recent runway incursions at Ronald Reagan Washington National Airport, including one being investigated by the NTSB. Known as ASDE-X, the NTSB says the system helped stop the impending collision at JFK, but it is deployed at only 35 major airports in the United States. Such a recording would have provided key details about what happened, the NTSB said.

Jensen Huang used to worry about not having enough time to accomplish everything he wanted. These days, the billionaire Nvidia CEO and co-founder wishes he hadn't worried so much. Huang's younger self would probably disagree with him, he added — but you should be able to do everything you want if you "prioritize your time really carefully." Be strategic about identifying and focusing on the most important things that need your attention at work and at home, Huang advised. Huang joked about skipping out on sleep in order to find more time in a 2003 speech at Stanford University.
