Wil Lutz of the Denver Broncos kicks the game-winning field goal against the Buffalo Bills at Highmark Stadium on November 13. While the night may be remembered for the Bills’ error-strewn display, Courtland Sutton’s remarkable second quarter touchdown for Denver will also live long in the memory. Seoul, South Korea CNN —An 82-year-old man in South Korea had a heart attack after choking on a piece of “live octopus,” or san-nakji, a local delicacy comprised of freshly severed – and still wriggling – tentacles. When first responders arrived on site, the man had a cardiac arrest, and they conducted CPR, the official said. San-nakji refers to a small octopus that is sliced and served raw, often eaten in South Korea’s coastal areas or seafood markets. Though the dish’s name translates to “live octopus,” this is slightly misleading – the octopus is killed before serving, with its tentacles cut into portions. San-nakji is often served with sesame oil, sesame seeds, and sometimes ginger, and has a chewy texture.

On Sept. 10, 2022, Katz purchased a charged lemonade from a Panera Bread in Philadelphia, according to the suit. It's an energy drink that has lemon flavor," said Elizabeth Crawford, a partner at Philadelphia-based law firm Kline & Specter, PC. The lawsuit alleges the charged lemonade is "defective in design because it is a dangerous energy drink." Conroy said Katz had bought at least one other charged lemonade in the days prior to her cardiac arrest. Katz's parents, who declined to speak about the lawsuit, are desperate for people to understand exactly what is in Panera's charged lemonade before they buy it, Crawford said.

Many people see a bright light during their near-death experiences, experts say. “This latest report of persistent brain waves after cardiac arrest has been blown out of proportion by the media. “That is, those patients who had near-death experiences did not show the reported brain waves, and those who did show the reported brain waves did not report near-death experiences,” Greyson told CNN via email. Greyson, who was not involved in the new study, is the coeditor of “The Handbook of Near-Death Experiences: Thirty Years of Investigation.” He and cardiologist Dr. Pim van Lommel, a Dutch researcher and writer on near-death experiences, submitted comments to the journal to publish alongside the new study. It’s correct that the study was not able to match electrical activity with a near death experience in the same patient, Parnia said.

CNN —The death earlier this year of former US swimming champion Jamie Cail has been ruled accidental and fentanyl related, according to a Facebook post from the US Virgin Islands Police Department. An autopsy report from the US Virgin Islands Office of the Medical Examiner listed Cail’s cause of death as “fentanyl intoxication with aspiration of gastric content,” police said Friday. Cail, who had previously lived in New Hampshire, ultimately “succumbed to her ailment,” officials added, saying she had died on arrival.
