The stock market has always pulled back when valuations are stretched as they are now, according to Deutsche Bank macro strategist Henry Allen in a note to clients this week. "[T]urning points can happen quickly, and … when valuations are stretched to start with, there can be limited scope for further gains," Allen noted. "[E]xamples of high returns through history have often been followed by sizeable reversals." CNN —A coffee shop in Middleborough, Massachusetts, went viral overnight for offering free coffee to customers who entered the shop while dancing. Owner Josh Rashid told CNN that business picked up after the video was posted, attracting curious new customers while delighting cafe regulars. The sign posted outside of Coffee Milano Cafe informing customers of the promotion. Coffee Milano CafeInspired by a similar promotion by a pizza shop, Rashid posted a sign telling customers they would receive a free coffee if they danced for five seconds. “You’ve got to have some joy in this world, and if a little five second dance brings you joy, then it’s worth the free coffee.”

Atlanta Braves pitcher Chris Sale and Detroit Tigers pitcher Tarik Skubal won the Cy Young Award for the best pitchers in their respective leagues, MLB announced Tuesday. Sale won the National League honor while Skubal won the American League’s. Both Sale and Skubal won their respective league’s Triple Crown in 2024, leading the NL and AL in wins, ERA and strikeouts. Sale is the first NL player to win the pitching Triple Crown since 2011. Skubal also became the first AL player to win the pitching Triple Crown in a full season since 2011.
