Vice President Kamala Harris hit back at Arkansas GOP Gov. Sarah Huckabee Sanders' comments that Harris "doesn’t have anything keeping her humble" because she doesn't have children. "I don't think she understands that there are a whole lot of women out here who, one, are not aspiring to be humble," Harris told "Call Her Daddy" podcast host Alex Cooper. In response, Harris blasted Trump, blaming him for nominating three Supreme Court Justice who voted to overrule Roe v. Wade. Harris asked, referring to Trump's comments about protecting women.

With 30 days to Election Day, Vice President Kamala Harris and her running mate, Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz, are launching a media blitz that began on Sunday, with the two set to appear in a handful of interviews with traditional and new media figures, a senior Harris campaign official told NBC News. Former first lady Melania Trump on Sunday defended her beliefs on abortion, which she detailed in an upcoming memoir and which seem to be at odds with those of her husband, former President Donald Trump. “[Donald Trump] knew my position and my beliefs since the day we met. I think I don’t want government in my personal business,” Melania Trump told Fox News’ Maria Bartiromo in a pretaped interview that aired Sunday. “This is the legacy of Donald Trump, which is we now cannot go into an election with full confidence that the results will be peaceful,” the congressman, who is running for Senate this year, told Welker. NBC News has reached out to the Trump campaign for comment. He added that he expects Harris to win the election but that “it is still scary close” and that larger-than-expected margins could stem the threat of violence related to the election result. “The reason why the margin is so important is because [Republicans] will challenge the results when they lose. Running up that margin as much as possible and turning people out has to be our priority,” Schiff said.

President Joe Biden said Friday he was confident that the November election would be "free and fair" but expressed concerns that it may not be "peaceful." During a surprise appearance at the White House press briefing, a reporter asked Biden if he thought that the election would be free and fair and whether it would be peaceful. Vice President Kamala Harris' running mate, Minnesota Gov. Biden on Friday referenced the exchange, telling reporters, "I noticed the vice presidential Republican candidate did not say he'd accept the outcome of the election. On Wednesday, prosecutors filed a new brief in the federal election interference case against Trump, alleging that Trump worked in a personal capacity after the 2020 presidential election to get the results overturned.

The news is a particular blow to Vice President Kamala Harris, since the union was the first to endorse Joe Biden's presidential bid in 2020. In a statement, Edward A. Kelly, the union's president, said that the group's executive board voted on Thursday by 1.2% not to endorse. Both presidential campaigns made personal appeals to the union’s members at a convention in Boston in August, with Minnesota Gov. Last month, the Teamsters union, which represents over 1 million truck drivers, freight workers and others, also declined to endorse a presidential candidate. The AFL-CIO and the United Auto Workers union — which represent millions of workers combined — have each endorsed Harris this cycle.

Some of the ads feature doctors speaking passionately about abortion and saying that Republican candidates shouldn't represent "us" or "our" communities in Congress. But in at least four instances, House Majority PAC, a super PAC aligned with House Democratic leadership, featured Republican-blasting doctors in their ads who did not live in the district where they were advertising. The path to the House majority runs through all four of the districts where these ads ran. Since then, both doctors and patients have often become key personal messengers on abortion for Democrats. But Republicans blasted House Majority PAC over the ads, calling them misleading and accusing the group of spreading falsehoods about GOP incumbents and candidates.

I want to support a president who understands and appreciates the difference.”Even before the 2020 presidential election, Flake had long sparred with Donald Trump. In August, the campaign unveiled more than two dozen Republican endorsements for the vice president. And in September, former GOP Rep. In a bid to coax Donald Trump back onto the debate stage with Vice President Kamala Harris, Democrats plan to launch a new messaging campaign dubbing the former president a "chicken" for saying he won't debate again. The chicken billboards, which will first appear at Trump's rally Monday in Indiana, Pennsylvania, include a digitally altered image of Trump in a chicken suit alongside the words "There's no debate: Donald Trump's a chicken." Harris and Trump met for their first debate, hosted by ABC News, this month in Philadelphia. On Saturday, Harris' campaign announced that she'd accepted CNN's invitation to participate in a debate on Oct. 23. The Trump campaign didn't immediately respond to a request for comment.

The largest single-contributor donations went to MAGA Inc., the super PAC backing Trump, with Wisconsin roofing billionaire Diane Hendricks, a prolific GOP megadonor, giving $10 million to the group. On the Democratic side, tech entrepreneurs were the biggest donors to FF PAC, also known as Future Forward, a super PAC backing Harris’ presidential bid. Moskovitz donated $3 million to FF PAC, while Hastings, Jeff Lawson and Erica Lawson each gave $1 million. Super PACs like FF PAC and MAGA Inc. are havens for prolific political megadonors like Hendricks, Lutnick and Hastings because, unlike campaigns and their affiliated committees, super PACs don’t have limits on how much individuals can donate. In today’s edition, we explore one positive and on negative development for Kamala Harris' support from organized labor. The influential Teamsters union on Wednesday declined to issue an endorsement in the presidential race, Megan Lebowitz and Alexandra Marquez report. Prior to the announcement, the Teamsters also released survey data showing more rank-and-file members preferred to endorse Trump than Harris. Still, Harris has won the endorsement of just about every other major labor union in the country (the International Association of Fire Fighters remains a notable holdout). Instead, the Trump campaign appears to be approaching this apparent assassination attempt as an opportunity rather than as a moment to reflect.

The Teamsters on Wednesday declined to endorse a candidate for president, the first time in decades that the union hasn't backed a candidate in the presidential election. It found that almost 60% of rank-and-file union members preferred to endorse Trump, while 34% backed Harris, according to an electronic member poll. The law forced union workers to accept a union contract that had been brokered by the Biden administration. The union endorsed Biden in 2020. The AFL-CIO, which represents dozens of unions and millions of workers, and the United Auto Workers union have each endorsed Harris.
