Gangs in Haiti are recruiting children at unprecedented levels, with the number of minors targeted soaring by 70% in the past year, according to a report released Monday by UNICEF. A missing Israeli-Moldovan rabbi has been found dead in the United Arab Emirates, in what Israel called an antisemitic murder on Sunday. The Israeli government said the death of Rabbi Zvi Kogan, who has been missing in the Gulf state since Thursday, was a "criminal antisemitic terrorist event." Forecasters are increasingly calling for a cold, soggy Thanksgiving week as west-to-east winter-pattern storms continued to roll across the continental landscape.
