TODAY’S smartwatches and fitness trackers can be powerful tools.
Many can monitor your heart rate, give you detailed information about workouts, even trick you into getting into bed earlier.
Unfortunately, most look terrible.
Laurel Pantin, Los Angeles-based writer of style newsletter Earl Earl, started wearing a diminutive Fitbit Inspire 3 ($100) in the middle of 2020, soon after giving birth to her second child—and fell in love with its ability to track her activity and sleep.
“It’s become a thing I rely on, but it’s just so hideous,” she said.
