For the next two weeks, the popular streaming service is offering three months of its ad-supported tier for $1.99 per month. The "Blockbuster September" promotion is available from Sept. 6 until Sept. 20, and can be secured by new and returning subscribers. The timing of the promotion coincides with the streaming release of Disney's "The Little Mermaid" remake, as well as the upcoming streaming release of Pixar's "Elemental" on Sept. 13. Disney CEO Bob Iger announced last month that Disney+ would be raising its prices in October. The company also introduced a Disney+ and Hulu combo bundle for $19.99 per month, while leaving the $9.99 per month price of its existing Disney+ and Hulu bundle with ads untouched.

The U.S. in January granted Venezuela's PDVSA, Shell and NGC a two-year authorization to revive the project, which could boost Trinidad and Tobago's gas processing and exports. Negotiations between the trio initially had progressed little over a U.S. demand that the proposed Dragon gas project exclude cash payments to Venezuela or its state companies. Sept 1 (Reuters) - Belgian international Divock Origi has joined Nottingham Forest on a season-long loan from AC Milan, the Premier League side announced on Friday. "Divock returns to the Premier League to further add strength to our squad. Origi joined Milan on loan from Liverpool last summer after making 36 appearances in all competitions, including eight in the Champions League. During his eight-year spell he won an FA Cup, League Cup and Premier League title with Jurgen Klopp's side, as well as scoring in semi-finals and final of Liverpool's 2019 UEFA Champions League-winning campaign. Forest visit Chelsea in the Premier League on Saturday.

Max subscribers will have two months to try out some of AMC's best content. The streaming service last week announced that it would be partnering with AMC Plus to bring a handful of the network's top shows to its platform for a limited time. Beginning this weekend, more than a half dozen AMC shows have made their way to Max, where they will be available to stream for 60 days until Halloween. The AMC Plus shows on Max won't be accompanied by any ads, even if you don't pay for the ad-free tier of Max. Sept 1 (Reuters) - Nottingham Forest have signed Greece goalkeeper Odysseas Vlachodimos from Benfica, the Premier League club said on Friday as their busy transfer deadline day continued. The 29-year-old, who was ever-present last season as Benfica won the Portuguese title, has signed a four-year deal.
