The ministry released video footage on its Telegram channel showing Shoigu in khaki military fatigues inspecting soldiers at a shooting range, in his first public appearance with troops since last month's aborted mutiny by the Wagner mercenary group. The ministry did not say when the video was filmed or when the inspection took place. Shoigu said on Monday that the mutiny did not affect Russia's "special military operation" in Ukraine. "The Minister of Defence of the Russian Federation personally checked the training of contract servicemen in combat operations in various conditions, including urban combat," the defence ministry said on Saturday.

Romanian port operators shipped 8.6 million tonnes last year, and 6.3 million tonnes in the first five months of 2023, the Constanta Port authority told Reuters. The port handled 12.17 million tonnes of grains overall in the first five months, a 21% jump on the year. "There are premises that Constanta Port will see a new traffic record," the authority said. The Food and Drug Administration cited an ongoing review of inspection findings at a third-party filler of the higher dose for the decision. Eylea, which recorded $9.65 billion in global sales last year, has been hit since Roche's (ROG.S) rival treatment Vabysmo was approved last year for wet AMD. Two late-stage trials had shown Eylea was as effective as the lower dose version when given at 8 milligrams at longer intervals without any additional safety issues. The two trials included treatment of patients with wet AMD and diabetic macular edema (DME). An estimated 1.1 million people in the U.S. have wet AMD, while 1.2 million are estimated to have DME, according to Regeneron.
