According to academics who spoke to Reuters, the flag seen in circulating images is not an official flag of historical Palestine. An example of a mandate-era official flag from 1946 can be seen on the British Imperial War Museums website. The official flag of mandate Palestine in 1939, during which Palestine was administered by Britain as a League of Nations Mandate, was a Union Jack.

The Norwegian data centre will be in the town of Hamar where TikTok will store data spread over three buildings and the first phase will start operating from next summer. CNN —The COP28 president-designate Sultan Al Jaber has strongly denied accusations that his team sought to use the international climate talks in Dubai to strike fossil fuel deals for the UAE’s state-owned oil and gas company. Al Jaber also runs the Abu Dhabi National Oil Company (ADNOC). “These allegations are false, not true, incorrect, and not accurate,” he said at a press conference in Dubai on Wednesday. Al Jaber emphasized that all of his meetings with officials were squarely focused on his COP28 agenda. He added that he was often given conflicting advice on whether he should engage with oil and gas companies in his role.

The possibility of a minority cabinet arose shortly after the election when the conservative VVD Party of outgoing Prime Minister Mark Rutte -- which shares many of Wilders' anti-immigration positions -- said it would not join a Wilders-led Cabinet but did not exclude offering it outside support. Wilders, whose party took around 24% of the vote, will need to work with at least two more moderate parties to form a coalition. That is the "logical, right combination," Wilders said, adding that the most important thing was that the parties agreed to talks on how they might cooperate. The scout will meet with the NSC and VVD party leaders later on Wednesday.
