"It was reported on social media that two protesters intentionally rammed into Ramaswamy's vehicle and fled the scene. It said a local resident was leaving a restaurant when she accidentally hit Ramaswamy's vehicle while backing out of a parking spot. It is unclear whether the image is of Ramaswamy's car.

CNN —We tracked how long each candidate talked at the second Republican primary presidential debate. Entrepreneur Vivek Ramaswamy led with over 12 minutes of speaking time during the debate, which saw candidates scrambling for airtime and talking over each other as they jockeyed for opportunities to distinguish themselves. Doug Burgum of North Dakota had the least amount of time to get his message out, speaking just under eight minutes. Donald Trump didn’t participate in Wednesday night’s event, and the former president maintains a generous lead in the polls ahead of the other candidates. If opinion polls are to be believed, Donald Trump has the 2024 Republican presidential nomination in the bag. But in a recent Times Opinion focus group with 13 Republican voters who are looking at candidates other than Mr. Trump, the idea that the race was all but over sounded off base, either because they don’t know any other Republicans who want Mr. Trump back in office or because he seems beatable for the nomination. “My Republican friends say they are for anybody but Trump,” said one focus group participant, Carrie, a 55-year-old from Michigan. In the end, we wanted to know, if the race came down in 2024 to Mr. Trump and President Biden, would they give in and vote for Mr. Trump? It was the most painful question for some of them — and yielded bad news for Mr. Trump but no silver lining for Mr. Biden, either.
