The Academy Awards is introducing an Oscar for casting, the ceremony’s governing organization announced Thursday, making it the first new category in more than 20 years. The new category will be introduced for films released in 2025, meaning that fans won’t see a statuette given out until the ceremony in 2026. The Academy tends to be conservative when it comes to introducing new awards: The last category to be created was the Oscar for best animated feature film, which was established in 2001. Still, the question remains: Does cannabis truly cause psychosis and related diseases such as schizophrenia — or is this another overblown claim? It is especially important for us, as doctors, to untangle whether cannabis actually causes psychosis. Still, of all the drugs associated with this uncommon kind of psychosis, cannabis is the most common culprit. CBD products should only be purchased from reputable companies that test their products through independent labs and share the results. We shouldn’t jump to the conclusion that cannabis causes psychosis, but anyone who plans to use cannabis should know their personal risk factors and exercise caution accordingly.

Christie Herrera, president and CEO of the conservative advocacy nonprofit Philanthropy Roundtable, has said the fight for donor privacy is the biggest challenge her organization currently faces, “I think it’s time for philanthropy to step up and start talking about these donor privacy issues,” she said. Silent Donor also sets a deadline of 30 days to move a donation through its system and into a charity. Sanders said nonprofits should listen more to donors who seek more privacy for their gifts. He said that recent decline in philanthropic donations may be related to donors not wanting others to know about their financial decisions.

Now some on Wall Street believe Tesla no longer deserves to be among the coveted " Magnificent 7 ," and are suggesting alternatives that could replace Elon Musk's company. "The Magnificent 7 now looks more like the Magnificent 6 as Tesla falls from the crowd," billionaire investor Leon Cooperman , CEO of the Omega Family Office, said on CNBC's " Squawk Box " Tuesday. Meanwhile, there are now 29 companies that contributed more to S & P 500 earnings than Tesla, according to Strategas Securities. The research firm identified three companies with both market cap weighting and earnings contributions (for the next 12 months) larger than Tesla — Berkshire Hathaway , Broadcom and Eli Lilly .
