Apple's scale and specificity of vision also make it the first Big Tech company to get AI integration right. The fact that people are disappointed in Apple says more about the hype around AI's capabilities than it does about Apple. In that way, Apple's cautious approach may be a service for the rest of the tech industry. By slowly acclimatizing its constellation of users to AI that makes their lives better instead of frustrating them, Apple makes the tech feel like a natural upgrade instead of an unreliable, scary intrusion. Welcome to the age of geriatric millionaires

While it makes sense that time is often a crucial ingredient to accruing savings and assets, the average age of millionaires in the US has been rising faster than the average age of the overall population over the last three decades. How millionaires are changingSince 1992, the average age of the country's millionaires has been going up. That means that younger millionaires aren't joining their ranks fast enough to keep the average age steady. Millionaires are overrepresented beginning around age 50, but track pretty cleanly with the cohort in their 40's. What does it mean to have so many older millionaires?

Courtesy of Melissa HeddenMuch of the resistance to changing the federal poverty line could stem from the government's desire not to inflate the number of people in poverty overnight. Kevin Mullin, a Democrat from California, has introduced legislation — called the Poverty Line Act— that would modernize the federal poverty line, taking into account actual costs of goods and how prices differ across regions. If you say these six phrases to yourself or others on a regular basis, you're mentally stronger than most:It's all too easy to feel the opposite. Mentally strong people remind themselves of this to bolster their confidence muscle. It's a cornerstone of being mentally strong. According to data from CryptoQuant, the flow of bitcoin leaving miners wallets for exchanges – which indicates a selling event – reached a two-month high last weekend. Additionally, miner selling through over-the-counter desks saw its biggest daily volume since late March. CryptoQuant shows the hourly transfer of bitcoin from miners to exchanges rose to more than 3,000 bitcoins on June 9. "Daily bitcoin miner revenues stand today at about $35 million, down 55% from their 2024 peak reached in March." That's mostly as a result of "depressed" transaction fees, however, rather than the slashing of miners' block reward at the halving.
