CNN —Israeli soccer fans were attacked in a “serious incident of violence in Amsterdam” overnight into Friday, Israeli authorities said, with the government saying it was sending planes to evacuate affected citizens. Social media video shared by the embassy showed videos of what it said was violence against Maccabi fans. Israeli foreign minister Gideon Sa’ar said 10 citizens were injured and advised citizens to stay in their hotels. Maccabi fans had been in the Dutch capital ahead of Thursday night’s Europa League game against Ajax. The police also said a demonstration was planned on Thursday near the stadium ahead of the soccer match between Ajax and Maccabi Tel Aviv.

Zelensky said 11,000 North Korean soldiers are in the region, where Ukraine’s three-month military incursion into Russian territory has stalled. The New York Times reported earlier this week that a number of North Korean troops had been killed in a limited engagement with Russian and Ukrainian forces, citing senior US and Ukrainian officials. US officials had warned that around 10,000 North Korean troops are in the Kursk region and would be expected to enter combat against Ukraine. Colorectal cancer rates have fallen since the '80s, but have risen in under-55s by 1 to 2% yearly since the mid-'90s. Previous studies have found that people who exercise regularly have a lower colorectal cancer risk than those who don't. After five years, 529 of the participants were diagnosed with colorectal cancer, also known as bowel cancer. "Every movement counts for reducing colorectal cancer risk, meaning that doing any amount of physical activity is better than none," Orange said.

Hoax bomb threats targeting polling places and election offices briefly disrupted voting in five battleground states, with the FBI saying the threats in four of those states came from Russian email domains. “The FBI is aware of bomb threats to polling locations in several states, many of which appear to originate from Russian email domains,” the FBI said in a statement Tuesday night. German officials accused Russia of orchestrating bomb threats against several polling places in Moldova’s presidential elections last week. Threats to polling sites and election offices were reported across about a dozen Pennsylvania counties, where targeted polling sites were ordered to stay open late, officials said. “But I think the number of these bomb threats is, if not surprising, very concerning,” he added.

Blunt Rochester, 62, told NBC News before Election Day that she had her sights set on creating jobs, protecting reproductive rights, health care and centering the needs of seniors and families.
