"For the overall market, I don't think it matters who's president," Eisman said. "If Harris wins and both houses of Congress go Democratic, I think the market would probably have a very large correction," Eisman said. "If Trump wins and both houses are Republican, the market is fine, but there'll be certain sectors that will not do well and certain sectors that will."

With the presidential election approaching, experts are sounding alarms about the upcoming expiration of the 2017 Tax Cuts and Jobs Act, or TCJA. Without action from Congress, trillions in tax breaks enacted by former President Donald Trump via the TCJA will expire after 2025. "If the 2017 tax cuts are allowed to expire after 2025, about 62% of taxpayers would see their tax bills go up," said Erica York, senior economist and research director at the Tax Foundation. "That's because the TCJA provided tax cuts for the vast majority of taxpayers." Both Trump, the Republican presidential candidate, and Vice President Kamala Harris, the Democratic candidate, have called for tax changes that could affect millions of Americans.

"We expect bitcoin to claim back new highs, in case of a Trump win and by Q4, we expect bitcoin to reach close to $80,000-$90,000 range. Since Harris replaced President Joe Biden as the Democratic nominee, Trump has constantly attempted to portray her as weak on immigration and crime. On Friday, Harris also chose not to mention mass deportation during a radio interview with Univision, when the host asked her to summarize her argument to undecided Hispanic voters. “There is a way in which those [crime and immigration] issues in particular are also about bigger things,” said Adrianne Shropshire, executive director of BlackPAC, a group working to mobilize Black voters for Harris and Democrats. And many of those voters might recoil from these Trump policies on crime and immigration if they heard more about them. “What he is hoping is that the Black voters who he is [courting] don’t see that stuff,” Shropshire said.
