The U.S. arm of Binance, the world’s largest crypto exchange by trading volume, has hired former FBI agent BJ Kang as its first head of investigations. In his new role, Mr. Kang will work closely with law enforcement, regulators and other crypto companies, Binance.US said. The company said it will build Binance.US’ own “investigations infrastructure” to identify and mitigate crypto-related criminal activities on the platform.

Axios' Lachlan Markay first noted Hines' financial situation, which includes no reported bank account or earned income and compensation, and zero loans or liabilities. Nearly half of likely voters in key battleground states own cryptocurrency or are considering investing in it, according to a new poll. The poll, commissioned by a crypto-focused PAC, surveyed voters in Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. A third of voters who own crypto are people of color, compared to one in four of the overall electorate. Nearly half of likely voters surveyed in September in the battleground states of Arizona, Georgia, Nevada, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin own cryptocurrency or are considering investing in it. Thirty-three percent of Democrats said they have a favorable view of crypto, compared to 30% of Republicans who said the same.
