The result is a housing market that's fundamentally out of whack. The housing market has changed for good — and with the benefit of time-earned wisdom, we can pinpoint the moment it entered a new era. Two big things happened during the initial response to the pandemic that launched the housing market past the point of no return. Both factors have propelled competition in the housing market to new heights and made it challenging for would-be buyers to find their footing. I asked ChatGPT, OpenAI's chatbot, to punch up my résumé and the results were less than spectacular. While ChatGPT can offer some inspiration for your résumé, you still need to put in the work. But even with all that guidance, résumé writing remains a tedious task. I assumed it could offer helpful assistance for résumé writing, too. Further down, ChatGPT recommended I use words including "influential" and "prestigious" to describe my former employers.

The home improvement retailer, which missed on revenue and lowered its forecast, could be a warning sign about Target's quarterly results, too. Target missed earnings expectations for three consecutive quarters before eking past its own lowered forecast in the holiday quarter.

Using this insight, the researchers are able to successfully predict an individual's long-term success with just a small amount of information about that person's initial attempts. Indeed, in another recent study, Wang himself found that an early career setback often set up scientists for later success. In all three datasets, an individual's second-to-last attempt did tend have a higher probability of success than their very first effort. Rather, there's a singular learning threshold that separates eventual successes from the rest. "Thomas Edison said, 'people give up because they don't know how close they are to success,'" Wang explains.

Baldwin, who is also a producer on the film, was charged with two counts of manslaughter in the death of "Rust" cinematographer Halyna Hutchins. Though Baldwin's manslaughter case has been dropped, the actor still faces other legal woes as a result of the accidental shooting. In early February, Hutchins' parents and sister filed a lawsuit against Baldwin, "Rust" producers and other crew members, accusing them of negligence and intentional infliction of emotional distress, among other charges. Halls' hearing was the first to be conducted under the supervision of special prosecutors Kari Morrissey and Jason Lewis. In her place, she appointed Morrissey and Lewis as special prosecutors.
