Politicienii din ţara noastră condamnă acţiunile autorităţilor de la Minsk, acuzate de deturnarea avionului şi reţinerea jurnalistului Roman Protasevici, unul dintre fondatorii canalului de Telegram NEXTA. Deputatul PDM Alexandru Jizdan susţine că cele întâmplate în Belarus reprezintă o încălcare gravă a drepturilor omului. Liderul PRO MOLDOVA, deputatul Andrian Candu, consideră că reacţia comunităţii internaţionale, inclusiv, a autorităţilor ţării noastre trebuie să fie mai dură. Andrei Năstase îl numeşte "dictator" pe liderul de la Minsk pentru deturnarea avionului Ryanair și arestarea jurnalistului Roman Protasevici. "PAS condamnă sechestrarea insolentă a ziaristului belarus Roman Protasevici și se solidarizează cu apelurile tot mai insistente ale comunităţii internaționale care cer eliberarea acestuia.
