Because I'm both brave and a genius, naturally, I had to try to make the glue pizza myself. Was Google's response to tamp down its big AI search ambitions just because a few jokesters on X made silly queries? The ridiculousness of those AI answers does call into question the entire concept of using AI for Google search results. Digital pharmacy startup Hims & Hers Health is introducing access to compounded GLP-1 weight loss injections, the company announced Monday. The company, which offers a range of direct-to-consumer treatments for conditions like erectile dysfunction and hair loss, launched a weight loss program in December. But GLP-1 medications — the class of drugs like Ozempic and Wegovy that have skyrocketed in popularity — were not previously offered as part of that program. Customers can access the compounded GLP-1 medications via a prescription from a licensed healthcare providers on the Hims & Hers platform. The company's oral medication kits start at $79 a month, and its compounded GLP-1 injections will start at $199 a month.

CNN —New analyses of the longest clinical trial yet of the weight-loss drug Wegovy are shedding light on how quickly it helps people lose weight, how long they sustain that weight loss and how safe the medicine is over four years of use. A previous clinical trial showed even greater average weight loss for Wegovy: about 15% on average over 68 weeks, compared with 2.4% for people who got a placebo. It was sustained for up to four yearsThe results showed that the 10% average weight loss for people using Wegovy was sustained for up to 208 weeks, or four years. Patients stayed on the medicine while they sustained the weight loss. Almost 23% of people on Wegovy lost at least 15% of their body weight, compared with 1.7% on a placebo.

IPhone and Android devices with up-to-date software will receive a message telling them that a Bluetooth tracker is "found moving with you." Users can then have the tracker play a sound to make it easier to find, and access instructions about how to disable it. Since then, Apple has been working with Google to integrate alerts and warnings into iOS and Android to tamp down criminal misuse. The AirTag is also now just one of many Bluetooth trackers. Apple and Google allow third-party companies, such as Chipolo and Motorola, to build their own devices.

According to a report by The Wall Street Journal, U.S. retailers use third-party loss-prevention services to track risky return behavior. This doesn't outright mean fraudulent activity, but rather behavior that "mimics" or could be linked to such behavior. The most notable third-party loss-prevention service is The Retail Equation, a software provider that tracks return behavior that retailers deem potentially fraudulent. According to several now-dismissed lawsuits and Better Business Bureau complaints, customers reported they were following a store's return policy and were still issued a warning.

First-time applications for unemployment benefits climbed last week to 231,000, the highest level since last August, in another sign that the labor market is cooling.
