I liked all three recipes, but Drummond’s was the crowd-pleaser. Ree Drummond's recipe was everyone's favorite. It was everyone's favorite recipe, and the 16-minute prep time didn't hurt. Brown's sauce was my favorite of the group — even if it was my first time cooking with anchovies — and the texture of the breaded chicken was exactly what I was looking for. De Laurentiis' chicken Parmesan was my least favorite of the three, only because it didn't come with that heart-warming crunch that I've come to love from this meal.

Paige Bennett for InsiderIt really doesn't get any easier than this. Paige Bennett for InsiderI did wish there was some kind of garnish to make the drink feel more like a cocktail. Paige Bennett for InsiderThe first few sips were mainly club soda, which is not entirely pleasant on its own. Paige Bennett for InsiderOne of my favorite cocktail ingredients is ginger beer. Paige Bennett for InsiderThis virgin margarita was really good and refreshing.

I tried Ree Drummond's deviled egg recipe, which included white vinegar and sugar. I typically make my grandmother's "Fatboy's deviled eggs" each year for the holidays. AdvertisementRee Drummond is a food savant, but my grandmother's recipe takes the cake when it comes to deviled eggs. My grandmother Evelyn's recipe — "Fatboy's deviled eggs" — is a staple in the Edmonds family home during the holidays. After discovering Drummond's deviled egg recipe this fall, I decided to put it to the test.

Later on Thursday, U.S. PCE inflation for the prior month is pencilled to fall 3.0% from 3.4% - with a core also ebbing to 3.5%. "Monetary policy is in a good place," Cleveland Fed President Loretta Mester said on Wednesday, echoing comments from previously hawkish Fed governor Christopher Waller the previous day.

SubscribeIn May, U.S. firm Ramaco Resources offered some insight into how coal may have a role to play in the years ahead. "It is expected they can be mined using normal surface mining techniques and processed in a more economic and environmental manner than conventional REE mines." Elsewhere, researchers at Penn State have also been focusing on ways to source rare earths and critical minerals via waste from coal mines. Across the Atlantic, efforts to repurpose old coal mines so that they can be used for many more years to come have also been taking shape.

Over a decade ago, a Wall Street banker bought a coal mine to sell coal. Turns out, the mine contains rare earth elements that could be worth tens of billions of dollars. AdvertisementAdvertisementIn 2011, Randall Atkins, a former Wall Street banker, bought a mine outside of Sheridan, Wyoming, sight unseen, The Wall Street Journal reported. In May, Ramaco announced that Atkins' Brook Mine contains one of the largest unconventional deposits of rare earth elements in the US. Early this year, the White House announced it plans to invest $32 million in domestic rare earth and other mineral projects.

The Pioneer Woman's recipe was super creamy thanks to the addition of ranch. However, I thought Joanna Gaines' recipe for Buffalo-chicken dip was lacking in flavor. AdvertisementI compared two celebrity chefs' Buffalo-chicken-dip recipes to see which was better for my Super Bowl party. Both Southern chefs, Gaines and Drummond are famous for their family-friendly, comfort-food recipes. However, in researching each chef's recipe for Buffalo-chicken dip, I learned they approach the game-day favorite very differently.

Israel expects 30% of cars on its roads to be electric by 2030

A prototype of a rolling chassis for electric vehicles developed by Israel's REE Automotive, is seen during a test drive in Beersheba, southern Israel September 17, 2020. About 1.3 million cars, or 30% of the country's total, will be electric by 2030. By 2050, the ministry expects all 6 million cars on the road to be electric. The increase is expected despite a hike in taxes on electric cars. In addition, about 35% of buses will be electric by 2030, it said.

His wife, Jill Costelloe Birinyi, said the cause was chronic heart failure. Mr. Birinyi (pronounced BUH-ree-nee), a former equities analyst at Salomon Brothers who founded his own money management firm in Westport, Conn., argued that the market had not only a history but also a “psychology,” and he used this insight as the basis for his market predictions. The public began to sense that Mr. Birinyi was onto something in the 1990s. As a frequent guest of “Wall Street Week,” a popular show on PBS (and, briefly, CNBC) hosted by Louis Rukeyser, Mr. Birinyi again and again won an annual stock-picking competition among panelists. From 1993 to 1998, his average annual return was 44 percent, against a 19.8 percent average annual rise by the Dow Jones industrials.

CNN —A beluga whale widely speculated to be an alleged Russian “spy” has entered Swedish waters, according to OneWhale, an organization set up to protect the animal’s health and welfare. “After four years of swimming south down the coast of Norway, Hvaldimir – known worldwide as the ‘Russian spy’ beluga whale – is now in Swedish waters,” OneWhale said in a statement on Monday. “But the famous beluga skirted around the dangerous waters of Oslo for Sweden,” OneWhale’s statement said. The whale “tends to stay at farms where it has been able to catch fish, grazing on surplus feed,” the directorate added. In 2019, experts told CNN that Hvaldimir was a trained animal, and evidence suggested that the whale had come from Russia.
A beluga whale wearing a harness that read "Equipment St. Petersburg" appeared in Norway in 2019. Officials said they believed the trained whale was a Russian navy asset that may have escaped. They also said in the Cold War Russia used beluga whales to sniff out mines and torpedoes. The closest beluga whales live farther north, in the Arctic Ocean and the frigid waters north of Norway and around Greenland. Or it could be loneliness, as belugas are a very social species – it could be that he's searching for other beluga whales," Strand said.
In the past few months, several internet giants have fallen. BuzzFeed News folded. Vice is headed for bankruptcy. And with the recent publication of Ben Smith’s “Traffic: Genius, Rivalry, and Delusion in the Billion-Dollar Race to Go Viral,” there’s been a resurgence of chatter about Gawker Media, which went kaput in 2016. (I worked at Jezebel, which was under the Gawker Media umbrella, from 2007 to 2008.)

MADRID/PARIS/STOCKHOLM, March 2 (Reuters) - France and Spain are poised to announce a breakthrough this week in a long-running impasse over hefty costs of what would be their first undersea electricity link, a minister and sources in both countries told Reuters. That was due to unforeseen seabed instability on the French side that required costly re-routing, and rising costs of raw materials. Spain is a growing producer of renewable energy that it exports to France and it wants its neighbour to pay most of the extra costs. That had led to disagreement amid wider tensions between them about pipeline connections and protectionism. Spanish sources said the go-ahead would likely mean that France, whose nuclear power industry has been beset by problems, finally agreed to pay more.
Sharon Stone has revealed that she needs to have a fibroid tumor removed and said she only learned about the tumor after first being misdiagnosed. “Just had another misdiagnosis and incorrect procedure,” Stone, 64, wrote in a message she shared on Twitter and on her Instagram Stories Tuesday. “This time double epidural.”After suffering “worsening pain,” she sought out a second opinion that led to the current diagnosis. “I have a large fibroid tumor that must come out,” she continued. A fibroid tumor, or uterine fibroid, is a noncancerous growth in the uterus.
