A new study shows that access to SNAP benefits reduces the racial gap in food insecurity. Black and multiracial households have had higher food insecurity rates than white households over the last 20 years. While Black households had 20% higher food insecurity rates, they were 46% more likely to participate in SNAP than white households. For those not enrolled in SNAP, Black and multiracial households respectively had a 52% and 42% higher risk of food insecurity than white households. When accounting for household characteristics, Black households enrolled in SNAP had a lower rate of food insecurity than white households.

A Maryland homeowner found five adults dead inside the residence Friday, sheriff's officials said. Într-un dosar penal gestionat de procurorii de la Chișinău, Usatîi este cercetat pentru deposedarea controversatului bancher rus Gherman Gorbunțov de pachetul majoritar de la banca Universalbank. Ilan ȘorAlți doi pretendenți la funcția de deputat, aflați în primii cinci pe lista Partidului Șor, figurează în dosare penale. Grigore RepeșciucGrigore Repeșciuc este un alt candidat din lista Partidului Șor cu probleme de integritate demonstrate. Fiodor GheliciMAI a refuzat să ne ofere informații despre dosarele penale ale candidaților la funcția de deputatÎn lista electorală a partidelor există și alte persoane numele cărora figurează în dosare penale. ZdG însă a scris și a analizat doar dosarele primelor persoane din listele electorale, cele care au cele mai mari șanse de a ajunge în viitorul Parlament.

Victor Chironda: Motivele prezentate pentru demisia mea au fost invenţii şi minciuniEx-viceprimarul Victor Chironda susţine că toate acuzațiile prezentate pentru demisia sa au fost invenţii şi minciuni. Potrivit lui, toată lumea a înţeles că demiterea sa a fost o elementară răfuială politică. Victor Chironda afirmă că motivele expuse, precum că nu şi-ar fi îndeplinit atribuţiile sau ar fi lipsit de la serviciu, sunt motive inventate. În cadrul aceleiaşi conferinţe, Victor Chironda a prezentat raportul de activitate pentru perioada în care a fost în funcția de viceprimar al municipiului Chișinău. Scopul meu a fost să fac aşa ca lucrurile să se întâmple sistemic și instituţional”, a punctat Victor Chironda .

Judecătoria Chișinău a declarat ilegale mai multe clauze abuzive într-un contract de credit.
