Simmons has repeatedly pulled out of playing major tournaments for Australia, including the Boomers' bronze medal-winning Olympics in Tokyo. However, Goorjian said Simmons now wanted to be in the national setup for the August-September World Cup in Philippines, Japan and Indonesia.
