Paris CNN —Six airports in France were forced to evacuate on Wednesday for security reasons. Lille airport in northern France said on X, formerly known as Twitter, that the airport was being evacuated because of a bomb threat, with security operations on site. CNN affiliate BFMTV reported, citing a police source, that the airports in Nantes and Beauvais, outside Paris, had also been evacuated for security reasons. The venue was forced to evacuate on Tuesday due to a suspicious item, and over the weekend due to a bomb threat. France raised its security alert level to the highest possible following a knife attack at a school in the northern city of Arras last week.

"Monsieur le Président, please give us back the Monna Lisa and thanks for coming to the Tour," Bettiol tweeted, using the Italian spelling for Leonardo da Vinci's masterpiece. Macron paid a visit to the world's greatest cycling race on Thursday, where he shook hands with Bettiol, of the EF Education EasyPost team. PARIS, May 14 (Reuters) - France is set to win record foreign investment pledges when President Emmanuel Macron rolls out the red carpet for global CEOs on Monday at the annual 'Choose France' summit in Versailles, his office said on Sunday. Executives attending the event have made commitments to invest a combined 13 billion euros ($14 billion), the most since Macron started hosting the summit in 2018 in the former royal palace outside Paris. Over the past five years, Macron has invited top CEOs to the glamorous setting of Versailles Palace in hope of securing billions in foreign investments he says justifies his pro-business reform drive. Ikea has plans to invest 906 million euros by 2026 while Pfizer aims has budgeted 500 million euros to expand in France over the same period followed by British rival GSK with 400 million euros, Macron's office said. France and the UK agreed to postpone King Charles III's scheduled state visit. The visit was delayed because of turmoil in France over plans to increase the pension age by two years. France is raising its state pension age from 62 to 64. Protests in France over Macron's plan to raise the pension age by two years have become more violent in recent days. Major tourist attractions, including the Eiffel Tower and the Palace of Versailles, where Charles was scheduled to have a state dinner, were also closed on Thursday.
