The remains of some 34,000 people, many of them victims of Franco's regime, are buried anonymously in the complex. Relatives of those whose remains lie inside have been fighting for years to give their loved ones a burial under their own names near their families. In 2016, a court approved the exhumation of the brothers, but seven years later the family is still waiting.

CNN —Real Madrid has agreed a deal to sign football star Jude Bellingham, the Englishman’s club Borussia Dortmund announced on Wednesday. According to a statement from the German club, Real Madrid will pay €103 million ($110.4m) to acquire the 19-year-old, as well as additional fees. Bellingham will need to complete a medical before sealing the move. The midfielder quickly impressed playing for the Bundesliga club, his maturity and leadership qualities at a young age shining through. I’m sure he’s going to be the best midfielder in the world.”Multiple teams have reportedly been interested in acquiring Bellingham’s signature this summer but after Liverpool dropped out of the race to sign him, Real Madrid seemed the likeliest of destinations.

You may have seen a photo of Núñez Vicente’s Chaise Longue Airplane Seat prototype floating around the internet. Núñez Vicente envisages an airplane cabin in which the Chaise Longue is in the center, flanked by two rows of regular airplane seating. Spain's ruling Socialists suffered heavy losses to opposition conservatives in Sunday's local election, with around 95% of the votes counted, showing their electoral vulnerability ahead of an end-of-year general election. Only three of the 12 regions holding elections will retain Socialist dominance by very narrow margins, with the rest likely go to the conservative People's Party, albeit with coalitions or informal support agreements with the far-right Vox party. The gains for the People's Party (PP) indicate the conservatives could unseat the current left-wing coalition led by the Partido Socialista Obrero Español (PSOE) if they replicate the performance in national elections by December. The numbers showed few clear majorities, except in the Madrid region where regional president Isabel Diaz Ayuso of the PP looked set to win re-election with an absolute majority. Campaigning had been marked by several controversies, from allegations of voter fraud in small towns to an unprecedented case of kidnapping.
