The glass-half-full view is that price increases for single-family rental units are rather low, at least compared to the surges early in the pandemic. Back in 2007, I dropped out of college, despite owing about $50,000 in student loans. Feeling uneasy about quitting school, I thought all I could do was grind it out at my job. But I'd found a passion that got me excited outside of work: video creation, which included capturing moments and telling stories. I was thrilled when I discovered this site called YouTube where I could upload my videos for free and share the links with friends. Fifteen years later, my fun hobby has become my career: It allows me to make about $18,000 a month in passive income, according to my calculations from a recent month's deposits, and work only four hours a day.

The S & P 500 continues to make new highs, and volatility continues to decline. First, the S & P 500 has logged just two absolute 1% moves since Sept. 19, which is nearly a month's worth of trading. In fact, 114 S & P 500 stocks made new 52-week highs on Tuesday, which was the first time we've had over 100 since 7/16/24. With the day's opening and close both being higher and lower than the prior session's, this created a bearish engulfing pattern. The bottom line is that the S & P 500 and dozens of its holdings have built up substantial cushions by strongly coming back from the August lows.

Contradictory messages about inflation and the labor market have investors on guard. Price growth is slowly falling from its peak, but it exceeded expectations in September after a hot reading in August. AdvertisementInflation is a threat that won't sink the economyWhile there's plenty of economic data to get excited about, persistent price growth is a problem. "If we're going to be data dependent, we have to at least look at the data," Sosnick said. Higher-than-hoped inflation is rarely compatible with an economic downturn, so if price growth does persist, it likely won't be in an earnings-crushing contraction.

Military experts said it's partly down to Ukraine's long-range strikes on Russian ammo depots. According to military experts, these developments are likely due in part to Ukraine's recent long-range strikes on Russian ammunition depots. But Kastehelmi said that in the long run, Russia will "most likely" be able to adapt to Ukraine's long-range strikes.
