It's made by frothing nonfat cold milk and is added to iced drinks like cold brews. While some drinks come with cold foam on top as standard, such as some of its flavored cold brews, customers can opt to add it to other cold drinks for $1.25. Currently there are six flavors of cold foam available – chocolate cream, cinnamon sweet cream, matcha cream, salted caramel cream, vanilla sweet cream, and white chocolate macadamia cream. Tim Hortons in the US, for example, sells set chilled drinks with cold foam and also has the option for customers to add it to some of its other cold drinks. Dunkin' started selling sweet cold foam in February 2021, and has since launched it in a number of time-limited flavors including brown sugar and salted caramel.

She said the company's growth has been fueled by college students who want uniquely decorated rooms that reflect their personalities.

Cold beverages, especially Refreshers, are driving sales at Starbucks. Starbucks Refreshers, a popular line of fruity drinks infused with green coffee extract, usually sell more in the afternoon. "This includes this summer's launch of our Starbucks Refreshers frozen beverages," Narasimhan said. Cold foam, the fastest-growing add-on at Starbucks, can be added to Refreshers, and Starbucks is rolling out "faster and easier to use" cold foam blenders "to meet the summer demand for Starbucks Refreshers frozen beverages," Narasimhan said. For masterful measuringOMABETA Portable Kitchen Tea Scale $16 at AmazonAs with baking, you will get best results when measuring tea leaves by weight rather than the spoonful. “Some teas are tightly rolled while others are fluffy and light,” explains Ben Marcus-Willers, of Red Blossom Tea Company, a San Francisco-based tea company that sells to consumers as well as Michelin three-star chefs. Desains suggests a porcelain tea pot clad in stainless steel to keep a quality tea warm for hours. Alternately, make a tea concentrate by doubling the amount of tea leaves in hot tea, then pouring it over ice. Tea will always taste best fresh and warm, and its taste will change—“often for the worse,” Kroesen notes—as it cools.

DoorDash recently fired a driver after he cursed at a woman for tipping $5 on a $20 order. It comes as more businesses are asking customers to tip at cash registers and even at self-checkout stations. In a blog post from 2019, Grubhub suggested customers tip 20% — and consider adding more if it's an extra-big order, or if there's bad weather. That means the woman who tipped $5 on her $20 DoorDash order — which is a 25% gratuity — actually gave quite a good tip, drivers said. "A $5 tip on a $20 order?

You could serve the peppers with Jesse Szewczyk’s green salad with sour cream and onion dressing. It’s a bright and punchy salad with onion dip vibes, and Jesse makes the whole thing even more fun with an optional crunchy potato chip topping. Another low-pain-big-gain dish that flaunts A-list seasonal produce is Christian Reynoso’s verdant asparagus ricotta pasta, adorned with a lemony almond crumble. When combined with pasta water, the ricotta thins out into a creamy sauce that coats the pasta and crisp-tender asparagus spears, with the nuts adding even more texture. A dash or two of hot sauce right at the end adds just the right zip.
What I eat instead: When I want something high in protein but low in salt and preservatives, I opt for tofu. What I eat instead: Tofu burgers are surprisingly tasty. What I eat instead: My favorite refreshing, low-calorie beverages are green teas, like an iced matcha or hojicha (which contains less caffeine). What I eat instead: My go-to healthy breakfast alternative is natto, a Japanese dish made from fermented soybeans, with some multigrain rice. Opened last December, the Hotel Villa Fontaine Premier & Grand Haneda Airport has 1,717 rooms and is directly connected to Haneda International Airport Terminal 3. Tokyo has also announced plans to receive up to 60 million overseas visitors to the country by 2030. And as inbound tourism recovers, Haneda – which has been crowned the world’s most punctual mega-airport – hopes to ride that wave. Developers want to expand those routes to greater swathes of Japan as part of broader plans to help revitalize the country’s regions, according to Katsuyuki Tou, general manager of the Haneda Airport Garden. Tou explained that visitors to the multipurpose complex can already get a taste of what Japan offers.
If you're familiar with the Kardashian brand, it may not come as a surprise that Kourtney Kardashian Barker is wading even deeper into the wellness space. Kardashian Barker, who founded Poosh in 2019, recently launched Lemme, her own brand of vitamins and supplements. The Lemme essentials bundle includes three different kinds of gummies: "Lemme Matcha," for energy, "Lemme Focus," for concentration and "Lemme Chill," to de-stress. Those all seemed intriguing to me, so I purchased a bundle and decided to give the supplements a try. And for a better understanding of the ingredients and the promises Lemme makes — to improve my focus and decrease my stress, for example — I spoke to Jen Scheinman, registered dietitian nutritionist and senior manager of Nutrition Affairs at Timeline Nutrition.
She recently raised 2.5 million Canadian dollars, or about $1.8 million, from investors like Judy Brooks. Her pitch deck focused on the sustainability of her business — here's what it looked like. In 2017, she took her creations and started Blume. "When I first started Blume, we didn't have barcodes on our packages, and we hand-stickered the packages in my living room," Danudjaja said. Here's the pitch deck she used for her first raise.
Over the past year, more and more tech workers have seen perks pulled as companies try to ride out a tough market and potential recession. As perks disappear and performance reviews become more brutal, tech workers' compensation will remain high. But for tech workers who, quite literally, enjoyed a free lunch, it still feels like the end of an era. Layoffs have wracked the tech industry, with 150,000 tech workers losing their job in 2022. But it's clear that for some tech workers, this perk correction has been overdue.
Solar sharing, or agrivoltaics, is a system where solar panels and farming are on the same land. His family business, Hattori Tea Farms, situated in the Shizuoka prefecture in Japan, had been growing sencha green tea for over a century. He landed on a solution: Rather than growing regular green tea, the farm would specialize in high-quality matcha. "Big solar farms can be very disruptive because the land use is only for harnessing solar energy. While the increased amount of shade can reduce a farm's productivity, solar panels can bring benefits to the crops, too.

Pepsi launched a campaign Thursday encouraging customers to try the combination and use the hashtag #PilkandCookies (as in Pepsi plus milk) to showcase their Santa-friendly concoctions. “Combining Pepsi and milk has long been a secret hack among Pepsi fans,” said Todd Kaplan, Pepsi’s chief marketing officer, in a statement about the campaign. Pepsi is now publicizing the mix as its spin on “dirty soda,” a popular TikTok trend that combines soda with syrup and cream. Pepsi is recommending a number of recipes to those who want to go beyond just Pepsi and milk, perhaps hoping to launch its own viral combination. Swig, which calls itself “home of the original dirty soda,” has been around since 2010 and serves a wide array of the carbonated mash-ups.

Their Lost Plate company, which has been hosting food tours in several Chinese cities since 2015, will instead veer to Southeast Asia. With COVID outbreaks getting worse, it is unlikely that China's economy can shift into a higher gear in the near term. Local authorities in some Chinese cities eased restrictions, while others tightened. At its core, the problem reflects authorities' failure to prioritise the interests of consumers, who are often the punching bag in China's investment-driven economy.
I love a cappuccino or a black coffee in the morning, and I have long drank one to two cups of coffee a day. Once I started, it wasn't long before I started to get big cravings for it in the afternoons. Black tea, Club-Mate, maté tea, and matcha tea are also good coffee alternatives that still contain some caffeine if you're just looking to cut down rather than give it up. I felt better in the long runAfter one to two weeks without drinking coffee, I felt awake and was highly productive. For those who are set on giving it up, the most important thing is to find a good alternative.
