CNN —At least four Democratic representatives from Connecticut said Thursday they were targeted with bomb threats while home celebrating Thanksgiving with their families. Reps. Joe Courtney, Jim Himes, John Larson and Jahana Hayes each issued statements revealing they were targeted with bomb threats, prompting law enforcement to respond. In each case, law enforcement ultimately found no evidence of a bomb and all four lawmakers have reported their families are safe. A food company is recalling a tortilla chip salad topper sold in 20 states after discovering it is contaminated with a wheat allergen. Sugar Foods is recalling 3.5 ounce bags of Fresh Gourmet Tortilla Strips Santa Fe Style, the Food and Drug Administration said in a release Friday. "People who have a wheat allergy or severe sensitivity to wheat run the risk of serious or life-threatening allergic reaction if they consume the product," the FDA release said. Two people are dead and one is injured after a Civil Air Patrol plane crashed in Colorado on Saturday, Gov. The plane, out of the Thompson Valley Composite Squadron, crashed in Larimer County, Polis said. The Larimer County Sheriff's Office said in a post on X Saturday afternoon that it, along with Larimer County Emergency Services and local partners, were responding to a plane crash near Storm Mountain, about 48 miles north of Boulder. It was conducting a search and rescue training exercise, according to the Civil Air Patrol. Two people died after a Civil Air Patrol plane crashed in Larimer County, Colo., on Saturday.

Officials have positively identified the remains of a girl whose body was found hidden in brush under a plastic tarp in 1973, Pennsylvania authorities said this week. The remains belong to Ruth Elizabeth Brenneman, 14, Pennsylvania State Police Sgt. Pennsylvania State Police via APOfficials have spent the last 50 years attempting to identify the girl, Lacey said. They are also trying to determine whether Brenneman was considered missing and on what day she went missing, Keck said. Judge Juan Merchan also agreed to hold off on issuing his decision on presidential immunity until after he reviews the parties’ filings. Trump’s lawyers have argued his conviction should be tossed both because of the presidential immunity decision and his return to the White House. A Maryland man recently made a remarkable discovery in the Chesapeake Bay: An almost-whole human skeleton that appears to be at least a century old. NBC Washington reported George Oliver, who lives in Calvert County, was walking the shores of the bay on Nov. 4, looking for fossils, as he usually does. Oliver told the station that he could see the coffin, but that it was completely submerged in water. "When I first found it, you could not tell that there was human remains," Oliver told NBC Washington. A banana duct-taped to a white wall — or an acclaimed piece of art, depending how you look at it — sold at a Sotheby's auction for $6.24 million on Wednesday.
