The Indiana Fever superstar will appear at The Annika, the penultimate tournament on the LPGA Tour hosted by golf legend Annika Sörenstam from November 11-17. As well as playing in the Pro-Am event on November 13, Clark will also feature as a panelist at the Women’s Leadership Summit the day before as part of the event in Florida. A fourth university has forfeited its women’s volleyball match against San José State University following controversy over the gender identity of one of the team’s players. CNN —Legendary tennis player and women’s rights advocate Billie Jean King became the first individual female athlete to be awarded the Congressional Gold Medal, she announced in an Instagram post on Friday. Nine individual athletes, as well as the 1980 US Olympic team, had previously been awarded the Congressional Gold Medal which is Congress’ most prestigious way of recognizing someone’s achievements. CNN —The WNBA is returning to Portland, Oregon, starting in 2026.
