The parent company of TikTok says it has dismissed an intern that it found to have "maliciously interfered" with its artificial intelligence technology effort. In a statement in Chinese released Monday, the parent company, ByteDance, said the intern in question had committed a "serious violation" against its commercial technology team's "research project." JPMorgan sees the stock drifting even lower, by as much as 48% to its $130 price target. AdvertisementJPMorgan raised its price target for Tesla stock — but the bank still sees shares of Elon Musk's electric carmaker falling almost 50% in the coming year. Tesla stock is down 7% since it reported third-quarter vehicle deliveries on Wednesday, but JPMorgan thinks it can go much lower. CEO Corie Barry is a no-nonsense heavyweight who mastered the supply chain for Best Buy during the pandemic. As the JPMorgan recent upgrade on Best Buy said, most investors don't realize how awful this period has been for Best Buy. It doesn't hurt, of course that Best Buy has a substantial dividend — 3.68%, down from 4% and 5% when we were buying it. We have watched Eaton and Dover go higher and that was without the rate cycle, just with the data center.
