When we chose the name Rio, it wasn't popular, but it slowly is becoming a trendy name. download the app Email address Sign up By clicking “Sign Up”, you accept our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy . One of the biggest reasons we chose this particular name is because it wasn't popular, and now it's becoming trendy. I can only imagine how the influence of a popular TV show will increase the name's popularity further. lydia polgreenI’m Lydia Polgreen, and this is “Matter of Opinion.” Today, we’re going to do something a little bit different. And the great sort of brilliant twist of the show is at the end, the winner is chosen by the people that the contestants have voted off. Like, that just seems really, really American. I don’t think we need to go that far, but she is the best version of America, like America as it fancies itself to be. And if they happen to come out while I’m outside, I’m like, you!

The Theranos founder is expected to do so at Bryan federal prison camp in Texas. Elizabeth Holmes, the convicted founder of Theranos, is expected to start serving her 11-year sentence at a federal prison camp in Texas Tuesday. At the prison camp, the 39-year-old mother of two will have no choice but to don khaki prison garb. A copy of "Bad Blood," John Carreyrou's book about the rise and fall of Holmes and Theranos, has been spotted in the library of the prison camp, per The Journal. The prison camp holds about 650 women convicted of white-collar crimes, according to the Federal Bureau of Prisons.
Elizabeth Holmes will be staying at the same prison camp as Real Housewives star Jen ShahThe Texas women's prison offers business skill classes to all inmates. Both Holmes and Shah have been convicted of fraud relating to their business practices. Elizabeth Holmes is set to begin her 11-year sentence for fraud related to her failed blood-testing business at a prison camp in Texas that, ironically, offers business classes to inmates, according to an inmate orientation handbook. Holmes was convicted in November 2022 of three charges of wire fraud and one conspiracy to commit wire fraud charge after a jury found she defrauded investors in her health tech company Theranos. It's not all bad though: the prison offers wellness classes, arts and crafts, and leisure programs.
In a recent TikTok post, the 52-year-old spoke about how she was militant about not spending money she didn't have. Frankel earned just $7,250 for her star-making turn on the first season of "The Real Housewives of New York." "My apartment was furnished by Ikea when I was on the 'Housewives of New York,'" she said. In the years following her "Housewives" debut, Frankel started and sold her Skinnygirl Cocktails brand for a reported $100 million. "I was always terrified, because you don't spend money you don't f---ing have."

Scrolling through a list of cultural influences on her phone in the bar of a New York hotel, Ware debated what to include. 1Photo BoothsI’m constantly trying to make my phone take pictures that look old and romantic, and the photo booth just does that. What I’ve just started doing is taking selfies of myself, but pretending that I’m being caught off guard so that I can get really good photos with my children. 2‘The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills’It’s dirty and naughty and I probably should be doing something else, but I’m there, invested in the Kathy and Kyle drama. It’s so good for being able to work out your route for the day, like, I’m going to go to this coffee shop, then I’m going to go to the famous cemetery in Buenos Aires, and then I’m going to walk from there.
The highly anticipated reunion episode of Netflix's "Love Is Blind" was delayed on Sunday. Angry fans have lashed out at global streaming giant Netflix after a highly anticipated "Love is Blind" live reunion was delayed due to technical issues. The live reunion special for Season 4 of the hit reality show was supposed to air at 8 p.m. E.T. But shortly before that, Netflix tweeted that it would be up within 15 minutes, the New York Times reported. E.T., Netflix tweeted that the show would be available "globally at 12pm PT on April 17.
In an era prone to pop psychology, here lies “Renfield” on the therapist’s couch. Now, Renfield ( Nicholas Hoult ) is a co-dependent in a toxic relationship with a narcissist—that’s his master, Dracula. Not to be outdone, the vampire ( Nicolas Cage ) weaponizes the lingo of martyrdom as sharpened in feuds on “The Real Housewives.” “I’m the real victim here!” he snarls. Renfield joins a support group, brandishes a self-help book like a protective crucifix and, during a makeover montage, swaps his gothic rags for khakis. Do we believe for one second that a mass murderer would frame an inspirational poster that reads “YOLO”?
The reality TV alumna, who later founded the Skinnygirl lifestyle brand and became a self-made millionaire entrepreneur, agreed to a payment of just $7,250 for the hit Bravo TV show's first season, she said in a recent Instagram Reel. But she didn't let the network take a percentage of anything she made on her own, a move that "changed my entire life," she added. Frankel crossed out that section of the contract, and Bravo agreed to her terms, she said. A year later, Frankel founded Skinnygirl, which was initially built around selling pre-packaged, low-calorie margaritas. Shortly after, Frankel sold Skinnygirl Cocktails to Beam Global for an estimated $100 million dollars, keeping the rights to the "Skinnygirl" name.

DUBAI—The United Arab Emirates, where Dubai is located, has in recent years tried to position itself as a playground for the rich, offering longer-term visas, zero income taxes and plenty of night life. More than 80% of the population is expatriate. These days, in another notable move, one of the world’s most expensive cities to drink just made booze cheaper.
