CNN —Keanu Reeves is putting his foot on the pedal of his professional auto racing career. This weekend, the “Matrix” actor competed in the Toyota GR Cup, an amateur-focused racing series for car enthusiasts and aspiring racers, at the legendary Indianapolis Motor Speedway. ☆ Green Bay Packers QB Malik Willis opts not to throw on key down after center throws up on the ball

CNN —The Green Bay Packers left it all – and a little bit more – on the field against the Indianapolis Colts on Sunday. During the second quarter with the Green Bay offense at third down and 10, center Josh Myers appeared to vomit on the field before immediately snapping the ball to Willis. “I asked Malik why he didn’t throw the ball on that third down, and he told me Josh threw up on the ball,” said LaFleur. Willis threw 12-of-14 on pass attempts for 122 yards, getting his first NFL touchdown in his first start for the team. Running back Josh Jacobs totaled 151 yards on 32 carries in an explosive outing, while Willis added another 41.

☆ A 1954 Mercedes worth up to $70 million will be among legendary racing cars up for sale soon

CNN —A 1954 Mercedes-Benz W196 Streamliner valued between $50-70 million is among the historic cars set to be sold by the Indianapolis Motor Speedway Museum. “These vehicles will be some of the world’s most significant cars ever sold,” Gord Duff, global head of auctions at RM Sotheby’s, said in the statement. The cars will be sold at different events late this year and in 2025, according to the statement. In 2022, a very rare 1955 Mercedes-Benz SLR coupe that had been kept in the German automaker’s collection was sold to a private buyer for €135 million ($142 million at the time). “The Ferrari 250 GTO is the motoring market’s equivalent of Van Gogh’s ‘Sunflowers’ and a talisman for any top-end collection,” he said.
