While Rodgers has the accolades, Minnesota's Sam Darnold has been the better quarterback so far this season. Cardinals (1-3) at 49ers (2-2)The 49ers’ offense has been banged up, but it rebounded last week in a win over New England. An NFL All-Pro four consecutive years while in Buffalo, Diggs is averaging a career-low 9.3 yards per catch in Houston. ☆ Raiders’ Antonio Pierce offered recruits and parents perks like trips to strip club and gun range while at ASU, per the NCAA

Pierce, who served multiple roles, including associate head coach and recruiting coordinator, at ASU from 2017 to 2022, was sanctioned by the governing body for an alleged roughly year-long prohibited recruiting scheme. CNN has reached out to Pierce, the Raiders and ASU for comment. Pierce “consistently denied planning or arranging any portion of the visits, providing recruiting inducements, or participating in the out-of-state contacts and evaluations,” according to a NCAA press release. In the 67-page report, the NCAA provided what it described as multiple examples of the former Super Bowl Champion knowingly and repeatedly conducting forbidden recruiting violations. The NCAA has accused Antonio Pierce of recruiting violations while coaching at Arizona State University.

A flight attendant “either didn’t hear or ignored his request and continued past our row,” the post read. “I calmly reached behind me and lightly tapped (the attendant’s) arm to get his attention to again ask for a cup of ice for my son,” Davis wrote. “During questioning, it was rightfully determined by the agents that this flight attendant was inaccurate in his accusations and the agents profusely apologized,” Davis wrote. United Airlines has “removed the flight attendant from duty while we closely review this matter,” the company said in an email to CNN on Monday evening.

CNN —Sydney Roosters forward Spencer Leniu has been given an eight-match suspension after being found guilty of using a racial slur towards an Indigenous Australian rugby league player during a match. The National Rugby League (NRL) announced on Monday that a judiciary panel had found that Leniu had referred to Brisbane Broncos’ Ezra Mam as a “monkey” in a game in Las Vegas earlier this month. Leniu was charged with contrary conduct after the two teams faced off in the US and following a complaint from Mam. While giving evidence, Leniu said that he had wanted to travel to apologize to Mam – a Torres Strait Islander – in person, but the Broncos’ five-eighth rejected his approach. In no way did he mean to direct this term to Ezra in a racial way.
