Sylvester Stallone and Arnold Schwarzenegger can look back and laugh now about their heated rivalry as they once sought to one-up each other in terms of box-office muscle. Give Arnold the edge when it comes to Netflix documentary memoirs, with his eponymous three-parter easily topping “Sly,” a too Stallone-centric rumination on his “Rocky” rise. Sylvester Stallone earlier in his career, as seen in "Sly." Simply put, Zimny has sat back and allowed this to feel too much like a licensed product. Compared to the best of that fertile genre, though, it’s more of a lightweight than a genuine contender.

Arnold Schwarzenegger is owning up to a past feud with a fellow action star. The septuagenarian former governor of California visited the “Graham Norton Show”on Friday, where he admitted that he and Sylvester Stallone started out as major “movie rivals” before they became “fantastic friends.”“We were movie rivals, but we took the competitiveness to the extreme,” the “Terminator” star explained on the show. “We each had to have the best body, we had to kill more people in our films, and we had to have the biggest guns,” Schwarzenegger continued. “It got out of control, and we tried to derail each other,” he added. This year, both Schwarzenegger and Stallone are also the subject of Netflix documentaries, with “Arnold” having come out in June and “Sly” due to premiere next month.

Young was best known for his role as Rocky Balboa’s brother-in-law Paulie in the “Rocky” movie franchise. Sylvester Stallone, who starred as Rocky, paid tribute to Young on Wednesday. “I was on the MGM lot when Sly Stallone came over and introduced himself to me, told me he wrote ‘Rocky’ and said ‘you gotta do it,’” Young recalled. LOS ANGELES (AP) — Sylvester Stallone and Jason Statham weren't enough to save “ Expend4bles ” from a debut box office flop. The Lionsgate and Millennium's film, also known as “Expendables 4,” pulled in a mediocre $8.3 million for the big-budget project. It starred several popular names, including Stallone, Statham, Curtis “50 Cent" Jackson, Megan Fox and Dolph Lundgren. It's been nearly a decade since the franchise released a film, which opened with $15.8 million and eventually grossed $214 million globally. But times have certainly changed, as the film barely placed second behind “The Nun 2," a horror movie that earned $8.4 million in its first week.

Its broadness is mainly an asset — it makes the book suitable for beach reading or for mainlining before a dinner party. Sylvester Stallone faced off against many foes in his decades playing the boxer Rocky Balboa, but he was no match for Adele. In an interview with the Wall Street Journal, Stallone revealed that the "Hello" singer drove a hard bargain when it came time to close the deal for his Los Angeles mansion last year. While the two had agreed on a $58 million price tag for the eight-bedroom, 12-bathroom 21,000-square-foot home, negotiations hit a snag when Adele revealed that she wanted to keep one of the home's most unique features. Stallone had planned to take the Rocky statue he installed overlooking the property's infinity pool, but was met with an ultimatum from Adele.

Over the course of his decades-long career, Curtis "50 Cent" Jackson has learned a thing or two about success. He's a Grammy-winning rapper, successful businessman and a prolific actor who stars and produces in both TV and film. "One of the unwritten laws of power is to appear not to need anything," Jackson said. Jackson met movie producer Avi Lerner when he was already a millionaire from his rap career. Jackson has since produced dozens of TV shows and films — like "Power" and "Power Book II: Ghost" — with plenty more on the way.

NEW YORK, May 16 - Hollywood star Sylvester Stallone has a new project - starring in his own reality TV show with his family. "The Family Stallone", which premieres on Paramount+ this week, features scenes of Stallone on set filming television series "Tulsa King" as well as at home with his family. The family said the idea for the show stemmed from Sistine and Sophia's podcast "Unwaxed". Asked about comparisons to hit show "The Kardashians", Stallone said: "I think the Kardashians were brilliant in what they did and very original, we're taking a different tack. That's who they are, we are who we are and that's what I think gives the audience a variety."
You can stream the "Rocky" movies on services like Prime Video, HBO Max, and Paramount Plus. The sports drama series has grown to feature nine films, including six in the original Rocky Balboa storyline and three spinoffs about Adonis Creed. In the first two "Creed" movies, Adonis sets out to become the heavyweight champion of the world with Rocky's guidance and training. The six original "Rocky" films and the first two "Creed" movies are all available to stream, rent, or purchase online. Where to watch 'Rocky' moviesAll six "Rocky" movies and the first two "Creed" movies are all available to stream, and they're mostly spread across multiple services like Prime Video ($9/month), HBO Max ($10/month), Netflix ($10/month), and Paramount Plus ($5/month).
The Creed series is a Hollywood miracle in many ways. It's a lucrative spinoff of the beloved, decades-old Rocky series, but it has its own modern style and sensibility. Jordan's road to the director's chair was paved by Ryan Coogler, who wrote and directed the first Creed film, as well as Steven Caple Jr., who directed the second. Stallone was not involved with the third Creed film and declined CNBC's request for comment. The first film, 2015's "Creed," followed Adonis, the son of Rocky's longtime rival and later friend, Apollo Creed.

One potential storyline could concern Creed's opponent in "Creed II", Viktor Drago, son of "Rocky IV" character boxer Ivan Drago. Viktor makes an appearance in "Creed III".
