Fox News anchor Bret Baier chose one way when interviewing former President Donald Trump last year, and a very different way when interviewing Vice President Kamala Harris this week in her first formal sit-down with the right-wing network. However, Baier did not talk over Trump nearly as much as he interrupted Harris. At times, Baier sounded exasperated, as when Trump claimed he won the 2020 election. Overall, Baier interrupted Harris at least 38 times in 27 minutes, about twice as often as Baier interjected with Trump (at least 28 times in 36 minutes). “When did you first notice that President Biden’s mental faculties appeared diminished?” Baier asked.

Most of those subscribers receive both the print and digital editions of the magazine, and Goldberg has been eager to expand its print frequency. “We want to meet our readers where they are, and our readers love the print magazine,” he said. “The greatness of print and especially a print magazine is that it sits still for you,” Goldberg said. “I’ve never believed that resting on our laurels was an option, for more than a long weekend,” Goldberg told The Atlantic’s staff in a memo.

New York CNN —A Nevada judge has ruled that billionaire media mogul Rupert Murdoch and his family can hold a secret court battle over the future of his vast media empire behind closed doors. The judge rejected a petition by a coalition of media organizations, including CNN, The New York Times, NPR, the Washington Post, Reuters and ABC, to unseal the case and allow access. Though the Murdoch family is fighting over the trust and who will ultimately have control of the family businesses after the 93-year-old’s death, all of those involved agreed to sealing the case. But beyond that, everything in this case that it scheduled to begin next week with the Murdoch family likely in attendance, will remain sealed. Preston Padden, who worked closely with Rupert Murdoch to build Fox Broadcasting in the 1990s, blasted the family’s secrecy in the case.
