New York CNN —Bill Maher said his show is returning to air — despite the WGA writer’s strike raging on. “Real Time is coming back, unfortunately, sans writers or writing,” Maher said on Instagram Wednesday. “It has been five months, and it is time to bring people back to work.”Maher’s show is an HBO original. "This shooting was racially motivated, and he hated Black people," Jacksonville Sheriff T.K. The suspect, whom Waters described as a white male wearing a tactical vest, was not identified. Waters described his weapons as a Glock and an "AR-15 style" rifle, with swastikas on it, referring to a lightweight semi-automatic long gun often used in mass shootings. "The hate that motivated the shooter's killing spree adds an additional layer of heartbreak," Waters said.

Michael Townson, 53, allegedly confessed to killing Linda Little while he was serving a life sentence for the 2007 slaying of another woman, Daytona Beach Police Chief Jakari Young told reporters. Sherri Papini, the California woman who pleaded guilty to faking her own kidnapping and lying about it to the FBI, was sentenced Monday to 18 months in prison. Prosecutors recommended last week that Papini be sentenced to eight months in prison. U.S. District Judge William Shubb sentenced Papini to prison time along with 36 months supervised release. Papini, a mother of two from Redding, was arrested more than five years after she was reported missing in November 2016. The government said an eight-month sentence would discourage Papini from ever trying such a scheme again and dissuade others from committing fraud.
