Photo: Nam Y. Huh/Associated PressThe father of a man accused of killing seven people and wounding dozens during a Fourth of July parade in Highland Park, Ill., pleaded guilty to seven misdemeanor counts of reckless conduct for helping his son get a gun license.
As part of the plea deal with prosecutors, Robert Crimo Jr .
will serve 60 days in jail, two years probation and 100 hours of community service.
Crimo announced his plea in a Lake County, Ill., courthouse Monday before his trial was scheduled to begin.
