The Week 14 NFL Power Rankings don’t want to be a downer, but since we did best-case scenarios last week, it’s only fair to consider the worst-case scenarios for all 32 teams. Behind four total touchdowns by quarterback Josh Allen, the Bills routed the 49ers 35-10 on NBC’s “Sunday Night Football” to clinch a playoff spot and win Buffalo’s fifth consecutive AFC East title. The Bills’ dominant team outcome was the product of Allen’s individual brilliance. Allen became the first quarterback in NFL history to score touchdowns running, passing and receiving in a single game. After they fell behind 3-0, the Bills scored the next 28 points to easily take control and improve to 10-2, including 6-0 at home. To add more injury to insult, star linebacker Fred Warner later left the game, as well.

On the first football Sunday of the post-Matt Eberflus era in Chicago, NFL insiders weighed in on who the Bears may try to bring in for interviews as they conduct their search. Ian Rapoport, appearing on NFL Network’s NFL Gameday, said the team will consider a multitude of top candidates for the job. Things are likely to move slowly for now for the Bears, as the NFL season will roll into January, preventing them from interviewing candidates within the league. They will likely be able to conduct interviews during the postseason, but an announcement on a hire won’t come until their candidate’s season has concluded.

Week 12 saw plenty of heavy favorites face underdogs, but it didn’t prove as simple as many thought. Barkley rushed for 109 yards and two touchdowns on the ground in the Eagles’ Week 1 victory over the Green Bay Packers. While that still might be the case, it’s not been smooth sailing for the Texans through 12 weeks of the season. He has struggled behind a porous offensive line and that affected the running game on Sunday with Mixon only having 22 yards on 14 carries. The Seahawks currently lead the division having gotten the favorable tiebreaker thanks to their Week 12 home victory over the Cardinals.
