Former Abercrombie & Fitch CEO Mike Jeffries was charged with sex trafficking on Tuesday. Attorneys for Jeffries and Smith told Business Insider in statements that they would respond "in the courthouse." "This is very much a military operation," Jeffries told The Wall Street Journal in 1997. The pilot accused the CEO of enacting similar standards on board as in Abercrombie stores and firing him due to his age.

He sat down with BI to talk about the race, the national debt, abortion, and the state of his party. In an era where college-educated voters have been bleeding out of the GOP, Schweikert is increasingly an outlier, and he knows it. In order to keep looking like his district, Schweikert — a one-time conservative rabble-rouser who rode his way into Congress during the 2010 Tea Party wave — has had to make some changes. But now that Schweikert's sharing the ballot with Trump, he's not sweating that either. But while Democrats are hoping the state-level vote will boost turnout on their side and remind voters of Republicans' opposition to abortion, Schweikert sees it differently.

CNN —The Federal Aviation Administration has published new rules that it calls “the final piece of the puzzle” toward allowing half-helicopter, half-airplane, electric “air taxis” to start whizzing through the skies. “For the last 80 years, we’ve had two types – rotor and fixed wing,” Whitaker said. “We now have a third type.”Known as electric vertical takeoff and landing aircraft, or eVTOLs, the FAA now recognizes the designs as falling under its newly created powered lift category. Joby hopes to bring its aircraft to market by 2025, but it has yet to be certified by the FAA to carry paying passengers. “Delivering the rules ahead of schedule is testament to the dedication, coordination and hard work of the rulemaking team.”

The U.S. Navy said Sunday that two pilots who went missing after a fighter jet crash near Mount Rainier in Washington State last week have died. Lyndsay P. Evans, 31, and Lt. Serena N. Wileman, 31, were killed after their EA-18G Growler fighter jet crashed on Tuesday. She was also awarded three Strike Flight Air Medals for contributing to missions flown between last December and March. Because of poor weather conditions and difficult terrain, the search for their downed fighter jet took three days. Search and rescue teams ultimately found the remains of the aircraft in a “remote, steep, and heavily-wooded area” at about 6,000 feet east of Rainier, the Navy said. The two often flew together on an EA-18G, according to the Navy, a modified version of an F/A-18 fighter jet.

Advanced air defenses and anti-ship cruise missiles may also be on the table. Iran has ordered Su-35 fighters and also wants S-400 Triumf air defenses to, among other things, face Israel's superior missiles and air force. If all these deals do go forward, they would enhance the military capabilities of Iran and its allied militias. While the type of equipment was not specified, it could be the S-400 Iran has long sought. Iran is seeking Russia's S-400 air defenses.
