CNN —Dolly Parton paid tribute to her goddaughter Miley Cyrus on her 30th birthday. Cyrus celebrated her special day on November 23, and Parton posted two photos of her and the fellow singer cozied up. “Happy birthday @MileyCyrus!,” the caption on the post on Parton’s verified Instagram account read. On her verified Instagram account, Cyru posted a commercial featuring her and Parton for the event. “It’s gonna be legendary,” Parton says in the spot to which Cyrus quips, “She would know.”

Billionaire Amazon founder Jeff Bezos recently said he plans to give away the “majority” of his fortune. Bezos’ comments were made in an interview with CNN on Saturday, when he said he plans to use his wealth to fight climate change and to support societal “unifiers.” Bezos is worth about $124 billion, according to the Bloomberg Billionaires Index. “The hard part is figuring out how to do it in a levered way,” Bezos told CNN. The Giving Pledge was started by Bill Gates and Warren Buffett. Bezos committed $10 billion dollars to the Bezos Earth Fund in 2020, and by October 2021 had given away $947 million through the same.

In an interview with Pollstar magazine published Thursday, Parton said she plans to do occasional "special shows" but doesn't think she'll tour again. When it comes to her fervent fans, Parton thanks technology for keeping her so connected to them without touring. “You can do special shows in special ways. I will be doing some of that.”Parton also said she's working on a rock ’n’ roll album and hopes to have some legends of the genre sing with her. "When I got nominated for the Rock & Roll Hall of Fame, I thought 'Well, no better time to do it,'" she told Pollstar.
