LONDON, April 15 (Reuters) - Manchester City goal machine Erling Haaland reached yet another milestone in his incredible debut season in the Premier League when his two goals helped his side to beat Leicester City 3-1 and move to within three points of leaders Arsenal on Saturday. With Arsenal in action at West Ham United on Sunday, Manchester City seized their chance to apply more pressure by dismantling 19th-placed Leicester before halftime. City now have 70 points from 30 games with Arsenal on 73. Villa have 50 points, with Tottenham on 53 and fourth-placed Manchester United and Newcastle United both on 56. Newcastle and Manchester United, who face Nottingham Forest on Sunday, have played fewer games than Villa and Tottenham.
Passengers on an April 4 flight from Paris to New York left the airport with no immigration check. The incident involved a Norse Atlantic Airways flight that landed at John F. Kennedy International Airport. "We are investigating a disembarkation issue that took place on arrival at New York JFK on Tuesday evening concerning a Norse Atlantic Airways flight from Paris," the statement said. The low-cost carrier is fairly new to the transatlantic flight scene. Norse's New York to Paris route, which was inaugurated on March 26, has one-way flights starting at 269 Euros, or around $300.
The parent company of Norwegian Cruise Line says passengers are still splurging on luxury trips. There's no indication that consumers are "shying away from taking cruise vacations," its CEO said. "We simply haven't seen any indication that the consumer is shying away from taking cruise vacations," Frank del Rio, the CEO of Norwegian Cruise Line Holdings, said at its earnings call Tuesday. The Miami-based company owns Norwegian Cruise Line, Regent Seven Seas, and Oceania, which currently have 29 ships between them. Del Rio said that Norwegian Cruise Line reported record sales in November, in part because of Black Friday and Cyber Monday sales.

MANCHESTER, England, Jan 19 (Reuters) - Manchester City got back to winning ways in thrilling style after coming from two goals down to beat Tottenham Hotspur 4-2 on Thursday, a victory that moved the champions to within five points of Premier League leaders Arsenal. Looking to avoid a third successive defeat in all competitions, City were sluggish from the off and went into the break two goals behind after Dejan Kulusevski and Emerson Royal netted in quick succession at the end of the opening period. Three goals in 12 second-half minutes, however, quickly turned the match on its head, as strikes from Julian Alvarez, Erling Haaland, the Norwegian's first in four appearances in all competitions, and Riyad Mahrez put City in front. With the visitors chasing an equaliser down the other end, Mahrez added a late fourth to keep City well in the title race, five behind Arsenal having played one game more than the Gunners, while Spurs stay fifth, five points off the top four. I was pretty confident with my level and just wanted to have fun out there and see what could happen," Brooksby, 22, said. After a medical timeout following the second set, Ruud was far more comfortable on court but found himself broken and down 2-0 and then 5-2 in the third but he saved three matchpoints in the next game to force a tiebreak as Brooksby's clean winners deserted him. Up next for Brooksby, who is making his Australian Open debut this year after withdrawing in 2022 due to illness, is compatriot Tommy Paul following his five-set victory over Spanish 30th seed Alejandro Davidovich Fokina. "It's going another battle for sure, all the Americans are going really well right now, and we're all pushing each other," Brooksby said. "It's something that has been with me for around two years since I got a strain here in the fourth round," Ruud said.
Norwegian Cruise Line 's recent rally makes the risk-reward outlook less attractive, according to UBS. Analyst Robin Farley downgraded the stock to neutral from buy and cut her price target by $5 to $19. Farley noted the stock notably has outperformed the S & P 500 since October and that increase is making it less attractive to buy. The cruise line has added more than 30%, while the broader index added over 11%. She also said Norwegian is feeling "pinched" by inflation more than competitors, with it being the sole cruise line experiencing wage pressure.
Shares of Norwegian Cruise Line are trading at a steep premium and investors can find better value elsewhere, Credit Suisse said. Analyst Benjamin Chaiken double-downgraded shares of the cruise stock to underperform from outperform, saying investors should put their money in other cruise stocks. Along with an "unsustainable valuation premium" and better upside from Norwegian's cruise stock peers, Chaiken cited downside to 2023 estimates. Given this backdrop, Credit Suisse prefers shares of Royal Caribbean, which typically trade at a premium to Norwegian. Norwegian shares shed 5% following the downgrade.

After a rough patch, UBS thinks it's time for investors to load back up on shares of Norwegian Cruise Line . He now expects Norwegian to lose $4.66 per share in 2022, less than a previous forecast of a $4.97 per share loss. Shares of cruise companies have come under pressure in recent years as Covid-19 lockdowns shuttered business and put a damper on cruising demand. While UBS prefers shares of Royal Caribbean , Farley sees strength in Norwegian's strong domestic customer base and its exposure to the luxury segment. UBS trimmed estimates and its price target on the stock to $15 from $18 a share, citing inflationary headwinds.

"When Niemann was invited last minute to the 2022 Sinquefield Cup, I strongly considered withdrawing prior to the event. I ultimately chose to play," Carlsen said. "I believe that Niemann has cheated more - and more recently - than he has publicly admitted," Carlsen said on Monday. "Chess organisers and all those who care about the sanctity of the game we love should seriously consider increasing security measures and methods of cheat detection for over-the-board chess," Carlsen added.
