One of the nation's most prominent and influential couples shared the spotlight with baseball's postseason Monday night as the New York Yankees opened the American League Championship Series at home. Major League Baseball posted video of pop juggernaut Taylor Swift and boyfriend Travis Kelce, a tight end for the NFL’s Kansas City Chiefs, in the stands, after previously announcing they would be in attendance. Swift and Kelce have become a mainstay of high-profile sporting events, particularly in New York City. More recently, Swift was back at Arrowhead Stadium on Oct. 7 to support the Chiefs as they defeated the New Orleans Saints, 26-13, at home. Late last year, the Eras Tour became the highest-grossing tour in history, surpassing $1 billion, according to the concert industry publication Pollstar.

Afterwards, Harbaugh said he left the game with an arrhythmia, also known as an irregular heartbeat. “I’ll always remember the one in 2012, it was during the Monday night game,” Harbaugh told reporters on Sunday. Harbaugh also recalled telling Chargers quarterback Justin Herbert ahead of Sunday’s game that he felt unusually pumped up. “I don’t know if I’m really fired up for the game or this is my arrhythmia kicking back in,” Harbaugh recalled telling Herbert.

New Orleans Saints quarterback Derek Carr is expected to miss multiple games with an oblique injury according to NFL Network’s Mike Garafolo and Ian Rapoport. Carr was injured in the fourth quarter of the Saints’ 26-13 loss to the Kansas City Chiefs on Monday night. Carr has completed 70.3% of his passes for New Orleans (2-3) so far this season, the second-best mark of his career. The Saints scored 91 points in the first two weeks of the season but only 67 over the last three. The Saints' next two games are against the Tampa Bay Buccaneers this upcoming Sunday, and the Denver Broncos the following Thursday.
