According to prosecutors, about 45 minutes before the flight landed in Boston, the flight crew received an alarm in the cockpit that a door between the first class and coach sections had been disarmed. Passengers then tackled him and the flight crew restrained him. Torres was charged with one count of interference and attempted interference with flight crew members and attendants using a dangerous weapon and faces up to life in prison if convicted.

Miami Police arrested 27-year-old Christopher Keeley around 8:20 p.m. on Friday night in Miami Beach, according to a statement released by the Plymouth County District Attorney’s Office. Police found the bodies Tuesday night, when they arrived to conduct a well-being check, the district attorney’s office said in a news release Wednesday. Police also found a dead dog inside the home, according to the district attorney’s office. The Massachusetts Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is investigating the cause and manner of the victims’ deaths. Plymouth County District Attorney Timothy Cruz earlier said the attack appeared to be targeted and that it was unclear when it unfolded.

A manhunt is underway in Massachusetts after a married couple were stabbed and “bludgeoned to death in their home” in Marshfield, a town about 30 miles southeast of Boston, officials said Wednesday. "Keeley was acquainted with the Mattsons," Cruz said of the 27-year-old, who officials said also goes by the nickname "Crispy." The Massachusetts State Police Detective Unit assigned to the Plymouth County District Attorney's Office launched an investigation into the incident after being contacted by the Marshfield Police Department. Detectives developed probable cause and identified Keeley as a person of interest in the double homicide, the district attorney’s office said. The State Office of the Chief Medical Examiner is investigating the cause and manner of the victims' deaths.

Two lawmakers say they've gotten death threats over their support of the migrants flown to Martha's Vineyard. Last week, 50 migrants were flown to Martha's Vineyard in a move planned by Florida Gov. Cyr was quoted by Axios saying that he's taking the backlash he has gotten over his advocacy for the migrants "in stride." Last week, DeSantis sparked a firestorm of criticism after he had the migrants flown to Martha's Vineyard on two chartered planes in what attorneys for the immigrants called a "shameful political stunt." Fernandes told WGBH's Greater Boston that the threats he's gotten "is nothing compared to what these people have gone through."
