“Quiet luxury, oh God,” Isabel Wilkinson Schor, the designer of Attersee, said with a small sigh. “I don’t consider us a part of that trend at all. It’s been around for a very long time, and it’s equated with minimalism. I don’t see what we are doing as minimalism.”Attersee, which Ms. Wilkinson Schor founded in 2021, is known for the kinds of high quality, strokeable fabrics associated with the trend. The impetus for the line was simply to find everyday clothes that were comfortable and beautiful, not the kind of thing that would be worn only to a big event once a year.

I'd lived in New York City for 35 years, but Paris had been in the back of my mind since 2016. COVID-19 quashed an earlier attempt to leave New York City in March 2020, so almost two years later, I boarded the plane shortly after my 79th birthday. I chose Paris for a few reasonsHaving spent about half of my adult years enjoying New York City, I wanted something else for the penultimate stage of life. The learning continuesThough I sold my New York apartment for a nice price, it wasn't enough for an appropriate place in Paris. The dream of visiting Paris usually includes spending your days going to museums and having coffee at sidewalk cafés.

Where did “Tyrone” start for you? I knew I wanted to do a mystery, like a bootleg Scooby-Doo where the detectives are inadequate but somehow uniquely equipped. He had gotten arrested for something when we were 18 or 19 that ended up changing the course of his life. I started thinking a lot about blame and responsibility and that’s when all the elements of the movie came together. A lot of times it’s a song, or a piece of score and I’ll be trying to recapture how that feels.

The emissions were equal to the annual greenhouse gas emissions of more than 59,000 automobiles, according to the EPA’s greenhouse gas equivalency calculator. Under such a scenario Duke Energy would likely have years of low emissions punctuated by a single year of high emissions. While other utilities have participated for decades in a voluntary program with the EPA to reduce SF6 emissions to next to nothing, Duke Energy has not. Brooks said Duke Energy is also targeting its most leaky equipment for faster replacement. The figure is roughly half of 1% of all greenhouse gas emissions worldwide, far smaller than yearly emissions of carbon dioxide, the primary driver of climate change.
