Premiul 'Otto cel Mare' este acordat, o dată la doi ani, unor personalităţi sau organizaţii pentru merite deosebite în procesul european de unificare şi în promovarea gândirii europene. PROPUNERE DE COMPROMIS PENTRU BUGETUL UEParlamentul European a propus suplimentarea bugetului multianual al UE cu aproape 40 de miliarde de euro. Potrivit executivului european, combaterea emisiilor de metan este esenţială pentru planul de neutralitate climatică până în anul 2050.
